Supporting Our Athletes! 🇬🇲🏃🏽♂️🏅
Today, the Director of Finance of Kerewan Area Council, Mr. Khan, on behalf of the Chairman and CEO, officially handed over a cheque of D15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Dalasi) to the Athletic Camping Team in preparation for The Gambia’s Golden Jubilee Celebration.
This support reflects our commitment to empowering our athletes as they gear up for this historic event. We wish them all the best in their preparations and look forward to celebrating years of progress, unity, and excellence!

Mr. Abdoulie Khan, Director of Finance at Kerewan Area Council, presented a generous donation of D10,000,00 on behalf of our Chairman, CEO, and the entire staff! 🤝 This contribution is in support of the NBR Sport Committee's Youth Camp in Kerewan. 🏀🌈

On the 8th, 9th & 10th November 2021.
The North Bank Regional Contingency Plan headed by the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) with the Technical support of WFP and the EU in the presence and the full participation of government agencies and institutions, NGOs and CSOs, operating within the North Bank Region of The Gambia.
North Bank is one of the most vulnerable regions which faced with environmental related emergency including drought, floods/Windstorm, Bush/Domestic Fires and Disease outbreak.
This has an adversely impact on life and livelihood of the populace. In view of this phenomenon, assessment becomes the entry point for any humanitarian response.

On 4th and 5th August, 2021.
The North Bank Region's Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) had their Second Quarter meeting for reporting on institutional development activities organized at Kerewan Area Council Chamber. Heads of institutions presented their activities report of their various institutions which follows with a discussion on how to improve on their areas of weaknesses and then comments were made by the Governor.

On Friday, 30th July, 2021.
Kerewan Area Council -KAC has donated six-hundred and ninety (690) bags of rice to the people of North Bank Region in solidarity and compensation for their lost of properties caused by the windstorm.
This was handed over to the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) by the Chairman, CEO and Directors of KAC in the presence of the Governor and Chief of North Bank.
We hope this will be helpful to the entire community.
