G-GOOD GOVERNANCE, TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

The province is a consistent awardee in 4 successive years. Top 1 in FY 2022, Top 2 in FY 2023 and Top 1 in FY 2024 & 2025 for the current operating expenditures per capita overtaking the 81 Provinces in the Philippines.

Recently, we are adjudged again as Number 1 in Current Operating Expenditure per Capita 2026 in Caraga Region 13. This underscores the proper planning, budgeting and financial housekeeping practices of the province which translates to wider coverage of the implementation and delivery of programs and services to each Dinagatnon.

E- ECONOMY OF DINAGAT ISLANDS AND ITS PROVINCIAL GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT INCREASED AT 13.3% from -4.3% in 2022 to +9.6% in 2024.

Poverty Incidence cut by 12.9% from 33.3% in 2021 to 20.4% in 2025. This means that 10,847 individuals or 2,711 households have income ABOVE poverty line of P14,802 monthly. These gains reflect our collective efforts in building opportunities, strengthening livelihoods and improving the well-being of every Dinagatnon.

However, we need to sustain this momentum, harmonize all our strategies and implement impactful projects. There must be new industries that would create more jobs and employment opportunities for Dinagatnon.
