USAD Ateneo de Manila Social Justice, Freedom, Equality and Solidarity. The Party forms its members through a political education program grounded in both theory and practice.

The Union of Students for the Advancement of Democracy (USAD AdMU), formerly known as the Christian Union for Socialist and Democratic Advancement (CRUSADA) is the premier social democratic student-led political party in the Ateneo de Manila University. The Party adopts Justice, Solidarity, Equality, and Freedom as its guiding principles; illumined by a Christian Social Vision and grounded on democratic policies, and a socialist world-view. Through the Party’s working groups Ateneo Task Force Anti-APECO (ATFAA), Ateneans for Agrarian Reform Movement (AFARM) and Alliance of Laborers and the Youth (ALAY), and through elected Party Members to the Ateneo Sanggunian, the Party strives to be at the helm of advancing the socialist and democratic agenda within and outside the Ateneo student community in the following issues: student rights and welfare, rural development, labor rights, and gender equality.
