We are a support group for those affected by aphasia and their co-survivors (caregivers).

Aphasia is a language disorder, that may result in difficulty speaking, understanding, reading, and writing due to stroke or other brain injury. The mission of the Suncoast Aphasia Support Group is to:

Provide a friendly, welcoming and positive environment
Provide support through monthly meetings, guest speakers, networking and social activities
Provide a forum where individuals with aphasia feel

So excited about Gabrielle Nicolais from Tobii Dynavox as our guest speaker last night. We learned lots of great information about Augmentative And Alternative Devices (AAC).
