A dedicated community leader, technology professional, and proud Duncanville ISD parent, Mr. Pelton is passionate about serving students, families, and the Duncanville community. Since beginning his family’s journey with Duncanville ISD in 2014, he has remained committed to supporting student success and empowering the next generation to reach their full potential.
Alongside his wife, Veronica, and their four sons, all current or former Duncanville ISD student champions, Mr. Pelton understands firsthand the impact of strong schools and community support.
Driven by purpose, mentorship, and service, Mr. Pelton believes in turning dreams into reality and inspiring others to do the same. We are excited to welcome him to the Board of Trustees and look forward to his leadership and service in the City of Champions!

Big things are coming to Duncanville ISD this fall 🍎✨ At Smith Early Learning Academy, our youngest learners will grow, explore, and thrive through hands-on, play-based learning designed just for Pre-K 3 students. From building confidence and creativity to developing social and academic skills, every moment is an opportunity to learn through play.

The Duncanville High School Panthers once again proved why they are one of Texas’ premier track & field programs, finishing as the UIL 6A Girls State Track & Field Meet runner-up with 64 team points!

• Senior Sanyah Keeton earned UIL 6A Girls Meet High Point-Scorer honors
• State Champions in the Girls 4x400-meter relay
• Silver medalists in the Girls 4x100-meter relay
• Multiple podium finishes and season-best performances on the state’s biggest stage
