A Nonproft Organization committed to alleviating poverty through community coordination. Stillwater C.A.R.E.S. does not provide direct services to beneficiaries.

As a nonprofit community benefit organization, we collaborate with those who are providing direct services that focus on the empowerment of those who are disadvantaged and the alleviation of poverty. This inculdes collaboration with all sectors of the community: agencies, organizations, churches, businesses, medical practitioners, civic and government leaders, law enforcement, and others.

Hello everyone!
We have some teens in shelter, and need a little bit of help from our community. We need supplies geared toward teens!
Specifically, we need hygiene items and clothing for all genders.
Some examples of things we could use are below.
• Socks
• Shoes
• Underwear
• Deodorant
• Menstrual products
• Self-care items
• Makeup
We are so immensely grateful for everyone who is able to assist us with these matters. Our community helps us to keep these individuals safe and cared for during their time with us. 🦋

The Caring for Kids Community Conversation brought together partners from across Payne County to talk about how we can better support children and families in our community.

Through small group discussions and shared ideas, participants explored challenges, identified community strengths, and imagined what success could look like over the next 12 months.

Several themes rose to the top:
• Making it easier for families to find and navigate resources
• Increasing awareness of services already available
• Expanding childcare and after-school opportunities
• Strengthening parent support networks
• Improving transportation access to services and programs

What stood out most was the strong commitment from organizations and community members to work together to strengthen support for families.

We’re grateful to everyone who took part in the conversation and shared their insights. These ideas will help guide future collaboration as we continue building a community where every child and family can thrive.

Stay tuned as we share more about next steps and ways to stay involved!

I’ve learned something working alongside The Salvation Army, hope often starts with something very simple.

A warm meal.
Help keeping a bill current.
Diapers for a baby when a family is struggling.

Small things can mean everything when someone is having a hard time.

This Friday is $5 Friday, and every $5 stays right here helping people in our community.

If you’re able, consider sharing a little hope today. ❤️
