“Peter Obi will never be president. He will never cross the central business district that will lead A*o Villa,” Daniel Bwala, special adviser to President Tinubu on media and policy communication, stated on News Central TV’s 60 Minutes with Mr Kay on Friday.

According to Bwala, Obi lacks the attributes required of a candidate for Nigeria’s presidency.

"I usually don’t get involved in politics, I don’t talk about politics. In fact, in the industry, there are a couple of things they tell you, don’t discuss religion or politics. So you fall into that category where you say, “I don’t like to talk politics.”

That’s the most st&p!d statement anybody can make in Nigeria right now. We should be discussing. We should be talking about it. We should be trying to fix things. We should be inquiring about what is happening in the nation. There’s nothing like sitting on the fence anymore. It doesn’t make any s£ns£.

I have a child, so I’m not just thinking for myself. Today, I bought fuel for ₦1,300. We don’t have light. We’ve been running generator back to back. I live on the Island, so there’s no special treatment. We’ve been running generator nonstop.

So imagine diesel, most malls, companies, even down to the smallest barbershop, run on petrol or diesel. I’m blown away. I’m m£nt@lly stressed, and I can’t even l!£.

No light. Diesel is expensive. Fuel is expensive. My staff, a couple of them, were smiling, but at the same time letting me understand that even coming to work now is a problem. Because transport is hiking, meaning their salary is no longer enough.

In a very short period, I don’t understand why Nigeria is one of the first countries to be aff£cted by the w@r in Iran. A blessed nation, a resourceful country, is complaining about fuel prices because we are dependent on one refinery.

And even that refinery never got full support from the government. Meanwhile, the country has different refineries that are not functioning. I don’t understand.

I’m actually very, very d!sc0mbobul@ted. It is m£ss!ng with my brain, and my spirit is very a&gry. All the things I’m working for, are for what exactly?

Then I have some colleagues in my industry that are part of something they call “Relax, Tinubu is fixing Nigeria.” I’ve seen a couple of people. I hope you are asking the right questions. I hope you are actually standing for the right reasons..."

Barr. Ikpeama: Are you saying you sponsored her education and she is now refusing to marry you?

Nwoke: Yes, sir.

Barr. Ikpeama: Did she give any reason for her decision?

Nwoke: No clear reason. She has been avoiding me, and after her graduation, when I approached her about marriage, she said she was not ready.

Barr. Ikpeama: Before you sponsored her education, what was the arrangement between you and her family?

Nwoke: When I met her, she had just completed secondary school. I informed her parents of my intention to marry her, but they insisted she must first go to university. They told me I could only marry her if I agreed to sponsor her education, which they said would last about four years. I agreed.

Barr. Ikpeama: What was the response of her parents when you complained about the current situation?

Nwoke: They said their daughter is an adult and they cannot compel her to marry me. They advised me to move on and trust that I will find a wife elsewhere.

Barr. Ikpeama (to the lady): Why have you decided not to marry the Plaintiff after all this time?

Nwanyi: I no longer have feelings for him.

Barr. Ikpeama: How do you intend to refund the money he spent on your education?

Nwanyi: I have no plans to refund him. He acted on his own free will. Besides, how does he intend to compensate me for the X we had? I did not f0rce him to spend or send me to school, my parents oy suggested that.

JUDGE: Here is my judgment:

This Court has carefully considered the evidence before it, including the oral testimonies of the parties and the surrounding circumstances of this cas£.
The Plaintiff’s claim is founded on a bre@ch of promise to marry, arising from an arrangement wherein he sponsored the Defendant’s education based on a mutual understanding, supported by her family, that marriage would follow upon completion of her studies.
From the evidence, it is not in disp¥te that:

The Plaintiff undertook the financial responsibility of training the Defendant through school.
This was done upon a clear representation and expectation of marriage.
The Defendant, upon graduation, declined the marriage without any justifiable or cogent reason.
While this Court recognizes that marriage is a voluntary union and no person can be comp£ll£d to marry against their will, the law equally protects parties from inj¥ry arising from reliance on a clear and serious promise. Where one party acts to his d£trim£nt based on such a promise, and the other party unjustifiably resiles from it, liability may arise.
The Defendant’s argument that the Plaintiff acted voluntarily does not absolve her of responsibility, particularly in view of the established understanding that influenced the Plaintiff’s actions. Her refusal, in the circumstances of this cas£, amounts to a breach that occasioned financial and emotional loss to the Plaintiff.
On the issue of intim@cy raised by the Defendant, this Court holds that such a claim is irrelevant to the contractual and equitable issues before the Court, as it was consensual and does not constitute a legal counterclaim.

In view of the foregoing, judgment is hereby
entered in favour of the Plaintiff.
The Defendant is found liable for breach of promise to marry and is accordingly ordered to pay the sum of: ₦15,000,000 (Fifteen Million Naira)
as dam@ges to the Plaintiff for the l0ss£s s¥ff£red.
This shall be the judgment of this Honourable Court…” -

“The Quran calls Jesus, the Word of God, the Spirit of God, and the Promised Messiah. And it calls Mohammed none of those things. I was a Muslim for 26 years. So, we need to talk. Now, I want to be clear. Before I go further, I am not trying to att@ck Islam. I'm not even here to do that or make Muslims feel b@d. That is not the aim of this video.

I was a Muslim. I understand the faith from the inside. So, whatever I'm sharing here is what I personally found when I started reading with honest eyes and an open heart. I want you to ask the same question that I asked. Ask those questions. That’s all I’m here for.

So, here’s the first thing that actually stopped me and made me think. In the Quran, in Suratul Iman verse 45, and Suratul Nisa verse 171, Jesus is called a word from God. Not every prophet received messages from God. But Jesus himself is described as the word from God in the Quran. Please just think about it.

Your word as a person is not even separate from you. When you speak, that is you expressing yourself. Your word carries you in it. When the Quran calls Jesus a word from God, it is saying something about Jesus that it has never said about any other human being. And I had to ask, why Jesus? Why is it only him that was called that?

In that same verse, the Quran also calls Jesus a spirit from him. Only Jesus gets this description in the whole Quran. Even Muhammad did not get that. Not any other prophet got that. And it is something that would make anyone think, why only him?

Now, the Quran calls Jesus al-Masih, the Messiah, 11 times. Not once does the Quran give this title to Muhammad, to Abraham, to Moses, or to Adam. Only Jesus. Muslim scholars say Messiah simply means anointed prophet. But think about this. Why is Jesus the only one in the entire Quran called that?

Historically, the word Messiah carries a much bigger meaning. It means the promised one, the one God had been saying for thousands of years was coming to rescue the people. The Quran affirms that Jesus is the Messiah. So I asked myself, if Jesus was just another prophet, why is he the only one with this title?

Also, when the angel announced the birth of Jesus in Surat 19, he described him as a pure child. Throughout the Quran, prophets asked God for forgiveness, including Muhammad. But Jesus is presented as a pure child. Notice only him. Why is he described differently from everybody?

When I eventually understood what Jesus actually came to do, it made sense to me. Someone who came to rescue people from sin cannot be caught in sin. He has to be completely clean to pay a debt he did not owe. The Quran affirms that he was pure.

I grew up knowing the Quran’s version of Jesus — that he was a prophet and a messenger. He didn’t die in the Quran. Everybody else died. But then I started reading the Bible with an open heart. I wanted to know what it says about Jesus himself.

Every prophet before Jesus pointed to something outside themselves. But Jesus stood up and said something completely different. Jesus said, “I am the way, I am the truth, and I am life.” He did not say, I will show you the way. He did not say, follow my teachings and you will find the truth. He said, I am it.

That is a bold statement. So you have to take Jesus seriously. There is no middle ground. Either he is what he claims to be or he is not.

The Quran calls him the word of God, the spirit from God, the Messiah, the pure one. He did not even die. He is coming back again. When I read the Bible, I realized this man is very important.

So I want to ask you an honest question. If Jesus was just another prophet, why does the Quran call him a word from God when it calls nobody else that? Why does it call him a spirit from God when nobody else was given that title? Why is he the only prophet presented as pure while others needed forgiveness?

I’m not asking you to change anything. I’m asking you to ask questions. Do what I did. Read. Go to the Bible. Read with honest eyes and an open heart. Not to argue. Just to find out what is actually true. Because when I did that, I found Jesus waiting.

If you are watching this right now and something in you is stirring, maybe you’ve been asking the same questions for a long time. Maybe you are even tired of religion and rules. Maybe something in you is saying, I want to know Jesus. Not the perfect version, but the real one.

You don’t need a special prayer or church or ceremony. You just need to be honest with God the way I was. Just say, “Lord, I want to know you. Show me who Jesus really is. I am open. Help me.”

That is enough. God meets honest people where they are. God met me when I was at my most confused state. He will meet you too. Just be open.

If you prayed that prayer or something in you wants to know more, comment life class below. Because I took my chances with Jesus and I have never been the same. Ever.

Jesus did not say follow me to the truth. Jesus said, “I am the truth.” He is the way and the life. There is no other door. There is no other way to the Father. Jesus is. Come to Jesus…” - An ex-Muslim lady has sparked discussion online after sharing her reflections on how Jesus is described in the Quran, contrasting these descriptions with the Bible.

🇷🇺 Marina Granovskaia never kicked a ball for Chelsea, yet for a decade she quietly controlled the most powerful office at Stamford Bridge.

When you talk about power in world football, most people point to the managers in the dugouts or the superstars on the pitch.

But for over a decade, the real authority at Stamford Bridge sat silently in the boardroom, orchestrating the most ruthless and successful era in Chelsea history.

Marina Granovskaia, the woman the media dubbed the "The Iron Lady of Chelsea," was never just a director; she was the architect of an empire.

Her departure in 2022 was not a choice, but a consequence of a geopolitical storm that saw Roman Abramovich forced to sell his beloved asset.

Yet, despite being out of the game for nearly four years, her shadow still looms larger than any stadium floodlight over West London.

Rumours often swirl about a potential return to a top European club, but Marina remains a ghost in the professional circuit, choosing a quiet, dignified life in London.

She is frequently spotted at the Bridge, not as a boss, but as a supporter, watching the club she literally saved from the brink of extinction.

Many forget that during the dark days of 2022 when the UK government froze the club’s assets, Chelsea was hours away from total collapse.

Marina was the primary negotiator who navigated the legal minefield, ensuring the club remained operational while the sale to the Boehly consortium was finalised.

Without her surgical precision and loyalty, the Blues could have faced administration or even a forced relegation due to the sheer weight of the sanctions.

Her track record is nothing short of legendary, having been named the "Best Club Director in European Football" at the 2021 Golden Boy Awards.

She was the mastermind who squeezed £100 million out of Real Madrid for Eden Hazard when he had only one year left on his contract.

She brokered the record-breaking £900 million sponsorship deal with Nike that remains the commercial backbone of the club until 2032.

Under her watch, Chelsea secured two Premier League titles, two Europa League trophies, and that unforgettable 2021 Champions League crown.

She was the one who personally closed the deals for N'Golo Kante, Cesc Fabregas, and the veteran signing of Thiago Silva that redefined the club’s spine.

While the modern game is now filled with loud owners and social media-driven transfers, the era of the Iron Lady reminds us of a different standard.

A standard where business was done behind closed doors, and every pound spent or earned was a statement of intent.

Stamford Bridge will always remember the woman who didn't just run the club, but protected its very soul when the world tried to tear it down.

Will we ever see another executive with the steel and grace of the Iron Lady in the Premier League?

French President Emmanuel Macron has called for the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened, stressing that freedom of navigation and global energy security must be protected as tensions continue to disrupt shipping through the critical waterway.

Reports indicate that Iran responded sharply, telling Western countries to “come and open it.”

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most strategically important oil routes in the world, carrying around 20% of global oil shipments. Any disruption in this narrow passage immediately raises concerns for global energy markets, international trade, and geopolitical stability.
