Hit the road last week in our great district where I got to spend time with veterans in Caldwell County and Bastrop County. We provided them with updates on VA legislation and had our mobile office on site to help work through cases.

Then we had the opportunity to visit with pastors from the Bastrop area who are doing incredible work in their communities. Thank you for your continued prayers.

District week is always a good reminder of why the D.C. work matters.

There may be no better place to honor our heroes than from small town Texas where the American spirit is strong and the legacy of those who’ve paid the price for our freedom is cherished.

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedom. Their courage, their service, and their memory will never be forgotten.

To every Gold Star family, we stand with you. Their sacrifice was yours as well and we honor you for it.

Congrats SpaceX on a successful launch of Starship V3.

A Central Bank Digital Currency would be the ultimate tool of surveillance and control. The gun store you visit. The church you donate to. The medication you need. The books you buy. A CBDC lets Washington track all of it.

That’s not a “digital upgrade.” That’s the infrastructure for financial authoritarianism.

Congress must permanently ban it.
