For National Police Week, we recognize the law enforcement officers across Texas and the country who serve their communities every day and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Texas is proud to stand beside the officers, deputies, troopers, and agencies who continue to support our athletes year-round through fundraising, events, and the Flame of Hope.

Thank you for your service, your commitment, and for helping create opportunities for Special Olympics Texas athletes across the state. 💙🔥

We recently held the annual Dallas Police Department Torch Run & Walk/Ruck at Klyde Warren Park and it was amazing!

Seeing the community come together in such a powerful way was truly inspiring. From the incredible athletes who showed up ready to participate, to the families, partner agencies, generous sponsors, and every community member who stood alongside them, this event was a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when we unite for something greater than ourselves.

At the end of the run and walk/ruck, we celebrated with snocones, cupcakes, and an iconic dance party that brought so much joy and laughter to everyone there.

This was more than just an event, it was a celebration of purpose and the incredible strength of the community when we come together as one.

Dallas, you showed up in the best way, and together we created memories that will last a lifetime.💙

We’re still feeling the energy from our recent Torch Run in White Settlement in the North Region! The enthusiasm and the overwhelming support from the White Settlement community made it a success.

Thank you to the White Settlement Police Department for leading the way! Events like this don’t happen without a strong community behind them, and White Settlement showed up in the best way possible.

A special shoutout to the Jets for being a part of the run and helping lead the way. We’re grateful to have you alongside us and will continue to support each of you💙
