Beginning January 4th on Saturday mornings Ami Bridge will hosting
Social Bridge
The game combines the fun atmosphere of playing bridge with friends at home, country club, or senior center with the benefits of club play (automated scoring so no travelers, pre-made hands so no shuffling or dealing) and game improvement through personalized coaching and a website with hand analysis.
This game is designed for the players who do not like playing against experienced players.
If you or your friends play social or “kitchen” bridge players, have taken lessons and want to improve your game, or are looking for a comfortable environment to try duplicate style bridge, this game is for you. This game is also for players who know players who want a safe comfortable place to play the amazing game of bridge.
This is how the game will be run:
• Game time is from 10 am - 12:30 pm (please show up at least 10 minutes prior to game time).
• You will play 18 – 24 boards depending on how time we have
• You will be given extra time to play hands (so no rushing)
• You will receive two tokens to be exchanged for help with the bidding
• If you make a note of a difficult hand to bid or play, I will go over them with you at the end of the game as a lesson.
• There will be snacks and drinks included with the game
• We can arrange to get you a partner if you do not have one
• Game fee is $7.00
• No player with over 50 master points will be allowed to play
If you have friends who have had bad experience in clubs before, or were too nervous to play in a club – this would be the perfect opportunity to get them to give it a try.
