This Victorian house at 703 W. Broadway offers an economic incentive to buy and rehab it. It is part of a National Register of Historic Places district. This means buyer could get up to 30 percent in tax credits for approved historic rehabilitation expenditures. Nick Parry, Realtor, explains.

𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆’𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 and how we’re working to better identify and document historic architecture throughout our community.

City staff will also demonstrate the expanded 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿, a comprehensive catalogue of historic property research that will help make these findings available to the public.
