OUTREACH PROGRAM IN MUSLIM YOUTH

On February 23, 2024 personnel of this Unit led by PLTCOL CARLOS J DILAG, Asst.,Chief together with PMAJ RAZZEL KARUWAHI, Chief Inves Section under the leadership of PCOL ARNEL J APUD, Chief, AVSEU NCR conducted outreach program held at Diosdado Macapagal Elementary School, Brgy., Tatalon, Quezon City. The Muslim Youth Outreach Program was successfully conducted which was headed by Ms Fayzah M Sultan, Arabic Teacher (Guru) in achieving its objectives of engaging with Muslim youth, promoting cultural understanding, and fostering community spirit. The positive feedback and outcomes demonstrate the value of such programs in promoting diversity, inclusion, and social cohesion.

Uniting Through Sport: The Opening of Aviation Security Unit National Capital Region Sports Fest 2024

In the heart of the bustling AVSEU NCR, where the rhythm of life is set by the constant hum of activity, a different kind of energy filled the air. It was the eve of the Aviation Security Unit (AVSEU) National Capital Region Sports Fest 2024, an event eagerly anticipated by all members of the Unit. The grand opening ceremony was poised to kick off, promising not just athletic competition, but also a sense of unity and camaraderie among participants.

On February 5, 2024, leaders of AVSEU NCR, led by PCOL ARNEL J APUD, inaugurated the Supply Office with great pride and commitment. In the presence of PCOL MEVIN G NAPILOY, Deputy Director for Administration (DDA), PCOL RANSER A EVASCO, Deputy Director for Operations (DDO), the ceremony, blessed by Rev. Fr. Ricardo F. Valencia Jr., marks a milestone in AVSEU NCR's journey. The newly constructed office stands as a testament to their dedication, configuring a workspace that prioritizes excellence and ensures a conducive environment for all personnel.

The "Monday Flag Raising Ceremony" that took place on February 5, 2023, was held at the Orbit Building, Terminal 1 Parking B, NAIA Complex, Pasay City. It was spearheaded by PCOL ARNEL J APUD, Chief, Aviation Security Unit-National Capital Region (AVSEU NCR) and attended by PCOL MEVIN G NAPILOY, Deputy Director for Administration (DDA), PCOL RANSER A EVASCO, Deputy Director for Operations (DDO) together with Guest of Honor and Speaker (GOHS) LTCOL DANTE J MIRAMBIL JR, Director for Operations 1st Air Force Wing Reserve, Philippine Air Force. The ceremony was hosted by the NAIA Police Station 4.
The ceremony was not only a display of unity and patriotism but also an occasion to acknowledge and celebrate the exceptional achievements within the unit. One standout recognition went to the personnel if NAIA Police Station 1, who was honored with a commendation for returning of wallet containing 590 dollors, 39,000 yen and 10 different ATM cards to Mr. Mutsuo Watada. This accolade is a testament to the dedication and outstanding performance of the personnel, reflecting a commitment to excellence in their responsibilities.
Further, LTCOL DANTE J MIRAMBIL JR, Director for Operations 1st Air Force Wing Reserve, Philippine Air Force (GOHS) delivered an inspiring and motivational message . His words undoubtedly resonated with the attendees, fostering a sense of pride, unity, and a renewed commitment to their duties. Such speeches at events like these often serve to motivate and uplift the spirits of those in attendance, reminding them of the noble purpose behind their service and dedication to the community and their roles within the Aviation Security Unit-National Capital Region (AVSEU NCR).
