Children were hard-hit during the lockdown periods. But something good comes out of such adversity. At just 2 1/2 years old, this 'bata-batuta' is able to:
* navigate thru his iPad with such ease;
* knows the alphabet by heart;
* can count 1-100; even up to 1000;
* spell his name and other words with letter blocks;
* draw sticks and smiley faces;
* paint landscape;
* knows the planets of the Solar System;
* knows the parts of an Atom;
* can easily read 'picture words' like Sky, Google et al;
* tinker & mess up Lolo's work in the laptop.
It'd be better, though, if he can go outside, get dirty in the mud & dust, have petty fights with other children, play with someone else's toys and climb trees & monkey bars.

LET THE CHILDREN PLAY
Let's tackle this 'simpler' issue- one that is within our grasp to deal with and that which takes up 80% of the children's time: PLAY. Particularly, UNSTRUCTURED PLAY.
How did they cope? How did you adjust?
What did they do? What did you do?
