As part of Global hunger relief service week, REGION 4 MEGA HUNGER RELIEF PROGRAM was successfully completed today 4th January 2026 at NIMHANS. We served 800 beneficiaries between 7:30 am and 9:00 am, making the initiative truly impactful and fulfilling.

A Glimpse into the Saree Pre-Pleating Workshop :

The Saree Pre-Pleating Workshop was an engaging and empowering skill-development session with a strong focus on practical demonstration and hands-on practice.

The session covered:
• Saree Pre-Pleating
• Effective Ironing Techniques
• Neat Box Folding Methods

The women participated with great enthusiasm and eagerness to learn, making the workshop lively and impactful. Overall, it was a fun-filled experience that blended skill enhancement, confidence building, and practical knowledge.

*Shakti Sanje* focusing on women’s health and safety, witnessed an impressive turnout of women from all age groups.

The programme featured a variety of impactful sessions including a defence workshop, saree-draping demonstration, general health check-up camp, Diabetes camp , breast cancer awareness session, and an informative talk on investments and financial planning.

The event also showcased several organic women-led start-ups and stalls, complemented by delicious food counters that added to the festive ambience.

The crowd remained enthusiastic and actively participated throughout.
