Members of the Franklin County Democratic Lawyers Club convened last week for our first CLE luncheon of 2025. As always, it was wonderful to see our members build relationships with each other while learning together.

Special thanks to our guest speaker, David Dawson, an immigration practitioner at Simakovsky Law, for sharing his knowledge with the club. His presentation “Introduction to Crimmigration - How Pleas in Criminal Cases Affect Immigration Cases” was especially relevant in light of policy discussions on the subject taking place at the state and national level.
