Members of the 2021-22 Broad Fellowship for Public Education Leadership recently came together in person for a week of learning and networking for the first time.

The Fellowship welcomes senior-level public education leaders from across the country who are dedicated to strengthening public school systems and the communities they serve. Fellows drive transformative work happening in urban school districts, charter networks, and state and federal education agencies that advance equity and excellence for all students.

Congratulations to Broad alum Pedro Martinez, who has been named the chief executive officer of Chicago Public Schools. Prior to this position, Pedro served as superintendent of the San Antonio Independent School District.
