Honorable Minister of Education, Miss Raheela Hameed Durrani, recently visited the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the School Education Department. During her visit, she met with the PMU management, where the PMU's Project Director delivered a comprehensive presentation on the initiatives aimed at enhancing education across the province.
Minister Durrani expressed her admiration for the efforts made through BHCIP, ASPIRE, and IFRAP, commending the PMU team for their dedication. She extended her appreciation to the World Bank and the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training for their support.
The Minister highlighted her intention to visit lagging districts to observe the impact of these interventions firsthand. She also celebrated the enrollment of nearly 1,800 out of school children in the ALP centers under ASPIRE.
Additionally, she emphasized the need for establishing fully equipped libraries throughout the province.

The construction of new rooms and toilets in PMU_ASPIRE-focused schools in District Sherani is nearly complete.
These improvements will provide better learning spaces for students and reduce the dropout rate among girls by enhancing facilities in their schools.

Had Detailed discussion on upcoming AWP for FY 2024-25 activities and target mapping. And also discussed the component and parameters regarding guage the real impact of ASPIRE interventions in Lagging Districts of KPK.

Achieving Results: Access and Delivery of Quality Education Services in Balochistan' workshop at Serena Hotel, Quetta brought together key stakeholders from government, development, and private sectors.
Participants engaged in dynamic focus group discussions and activities, providing invaluable insights to enhance education services.
The workshop was led by Miss Inga and Miss Maryam from the world bank, with facilitation by the PMU_Education throughout the day.

Project Management ASPIRE’s focused Government Boys High School Wali Khan district Mastung renovated from school’s own budget.
The credit goes to Principal Sir Haji Muhammad Mangi sb now posted as District Education Officer Mastung for his dedicated efforts. The walls are being painted voluntarily by high section students.

World Bank delegates and PMU-Education Management had a fruitful meeting at Beacon House Quetta Juniper Campus to brainstorm ideas for advancing education in Balochistan. They were given a tour of the school to observe the vibrant atmosphere and educational activities firsthand. The delegates were impressed by the conducive learning environment and commendable efforts of Beacon House School in contributing to the improvement of education in Balochistan. 🌍📚
