94th Military Police Battalion

We are extremely proud to recognize Ms. Yi, one of the outstanding Korean civilians on our staff.

Out of more than 4,000 civilians across Eighth Army, Ms. Yi was selected as Civilian of the Quarter for her exceptional service as a Human Resources Specialist while assigned to the 94th Military Police Battalion.

Ms. Yi transformed and optimized administrative processes, creating several notable impacts—most critically, identifying, mitigating, and efficiently resolving pay discrepancies with newly arrived Soldiers.

We are incredibly proud to have Ms. Yi as part of our Polar Bear team.

The Polar Bears are kicking off the new year on a high note by celebrating some well-earned promotions.

Former 2LTs Chinn, Parker, Hoyte, Adelgren, and Fischer recently promoted to 1LT. We encourage new Lieutenants to serve in Korea, where the mission set on the Peninsula offer truly unique, real-world leadership opportunities.

These officers are just a few examples of the incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experiences gained through serving and leading in Korea.

It’s that time again as we prepare to say goodbye to some outstanding leaders who have served the Polar Bear Battalion with dedication, while also welcoming new faces to the unit.

This holiday party gave us the chance to recognize one another and the countless hours put in to keep this unit moving forward. They also show our incoming members the team they’re joining, and the shoes they’ll be stepping into. Before long, it’ll be their turn to be farewelled as well.
