With a vision statement of “To build a hunger-free community with access to nutritious food for all”, two of Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger’s core values are Inspire Hope and Embrace Change, which are both very meaningful in our collective efforts to end hunger 🤝

Meals on Wheels Tampa envisions to eliminate hunger, isolation and loss of independence for the homebound and seniors in our community. 🤝

SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly Food Stamps, and continuously helps a tremendous amount of people with their daily nutrition needs. 🍽️

“Meals On Wheels of Tampa serves over 1,000 individuals a hot, nutritious meal delivered to their door by caring volunteers. The daily hot meal provides NOURISHMENT for the body. The kind greeting from a volunteer provides ENRICHMENT for the soul. Together, we STRENGTHEN our community by caring for neighbors who have difficulty leaving their homes.” 🌱

Meals On Wheels of Tampa is a privately funded, 4-Star Charity and a proud member of Meals on Wheels of America. “We rely on the community for financial and volunteer support and do not accept any direct government funding. 86 cents of every dollar donated goes directly back to programming.”
