I met King John Richards today. A man with a legendary reputation, and somehow still down to earth.
I asked him for a selfie, he smiled, said yes, and stood right beside me. As someone who’s faced racism in the UK, that simple moment meant more than he’ll ever know.

The money hasn’t reached the camp yet because there’s nothing left in MoneyGram to distribute. Maybe today they will get money. That’s the level of abandonment we live with.
