Conviction Alert: A jury found Walter Ellison guilty of the following charges: Leaving scene of accident with injury, DUI, and Reckless Murder.

The Hueytown Police did an outstanding job in their investigation that led to the arrest and later conviction of Walter Ellision. Sentencing is set for October 5, 2026 before the Honorable Judge Thomas Thrash. Asst. DA's Adrienne Ward Belcher and LeAnna Huddleston tried the case.
