Operating deep inside contested territory, from 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) and allied SOF paved the way for victory during Exercise RED FLAG-Alaska at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson - JBER. By conducting critical reconnaissance in the deep to identify and neutralize enemy threats, our elite operators set conditions that enabled 11th Airborne Division to converge on the battlefield and allowed United States Air Force aircraft from U.S. Pacific Air Forces to dominate the skies.

Success didn't start in the air, it began on the ground with 3rd SFG.

While their work may have been unseen, their impact was essential to mission success.

When the stakes are on the line, everything matters!

3rd Group’s very own Sgt. First Class Anais Moise competed in yesterday’s UFC 250’s combatives demonstration in Washington D.C., showcasing years of hard work, relentless dedication, and a passion for unmatched success.

Despite fierce competition from the U.S. Navy, Sgt. First Class Moise dominated her opponents, bringing home the title of combatives champion.

Hand-to-hand, service vs. service.

Join us in congratulating our very own on a job well done.

“And the Army goes rolling along”

251 years ago, on June 14, 1775, the U.S. Army, America’s senior service, was established by the Continental Congress.

Yesterday, during our annual Army birthday meal, we celebrated 251 years of honor, courage and commitment of the generations of Soldiers who have answered the call to defend freedom at home and abroad. From the first patriots who fought for independence to the Soldiers serving around the world today, their dedication, sacrifice and commitment have shaped the Army's enduring legacy.

Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Army!

This We'll Defend.

Friendly competition builds winning teams!

This week, Soldiers across the took a break from their high-paced training schedule to compete in the unit’s Commander’s Cup and memorial hockey game in an effort to find who had the grit and skills to take home a victory.

During Tribe Week, battalions competed in ultimate frisbee, flag football, tug-of-war, a 1,000-lb club, and a memorial hockey game in honor of Sgt. 1st Class Michael A. Cathcart, building cohesive teams and esprit de corps across the formation.

Who do you think walked away as champions?

Gone but never forgotten 🌹

Yesterday, the Tribe gathered to honor fallen Soldiers, brothers, fathers, sons and friends that paid the ultimate sacrifice in service of their nation.

During the 3rd SFG(A)'s annual Rose Laying Ceremony, we honored those that came before us, putting mission above all else.

May we never forget their names!
