2103 transmitted the signal 10 and operation was under the command of 2102. Unit 212 was the second due engine and operated lines of first due engine 216.

Vigilant Hose CO. No-2, FF Jose Osorio was presented with the Juan “34” Encarnacion award for highest call percentage in 2024. Additionally, Ex-Chief Albeiro Gonzalez (2124X) was presented an outgoing gift for his service to the department and making Hose 2 Proud. Congratulations and thank you gentlemen.

The officers and members of Vigilant Hose Co. 2 would like to congratulate one of our very own, Ex-Chief Albie Gonzalez (now officially 2124X) on completing his term as Chief of the Freeport Fire Department at last night’s Meeting. Ex-Chief Gonzalez is the First Chief of Department from Hose 2 since Ex-Chief George Mulholland (1986). Thank you for your 4 years of dedicated leadership and service to the Department and community.
We wish incoming Chief of Department Anthony Sotira, 1st Asst. Chris Burkart, 2nd Asst. Michael Gordon and new 3rd Asst. Julio Rodriguez all the best in the upcoming year.

212 second due yesterday morning 2nd alarm fire. Due to first due engine hydrant issues where it became out of service and loss of water, 212 layed in 400ft of feeder to assist first due engine water and also had 2 lines in operation. All actions were under the command of Chief of Department Gonzalez(2100)
