Progressive Billerica

On Tuesday evening, May 7, 2024, the Burlington DCC, Woburn DCC, Bedford DTC, and the Billerica DTC will livestream a Forum with the candidates for Governor's Council, District 3. The candidates are Democratic incumbent Marilyn Petitto Devaney and Democrat Mara Dolan. We are livestreaming from the Woburn Public Media Center starting at 7pm and ending at 8pm. The Forum will be moderated by Alan Foulds, Town of Reading Rules Committee Chair.

The town is looking for candidates to serve on the Billerica DEI committee. They are looking to support more equity and inclusivity in the community, as well as look at ways to get more diverse, representative sample involved with town government. Email [email protected] if you are intersted.

The school district is in search of a new assistant superintendent and superintendent. I would encourage you all to come and speak at school committee to encourage the school committee to hire someone who will continue the work of creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community. Also anything else you would like to add. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and make a difference for the students of this community.
