Right now, tens of thousands of people in Puerto Rico are being put on 48-hour rotating periods without running water because of severe drought. Earlier this month, storms knocked out power to more than 215,000 customers in Indiana alone, with some restoration work stretching for days. Those are real people already experiencing failure of basic infrastructure.

At the same time, the electric system is being asked to absorb a radically different scale of demand. MISO’s own 2026 forecast says data centers are becoming the primary driver of load growth in its territory. It projects roughly 22 GW of data-center demand by 2030. MISO uses a 2,000-MW large data-center campus as an example and says that amount of power is comparable to the needs of a metropolitan area of about one million people. MISO also says significant grid and infrastructure upgrades will be required to serve this growth.

And MISO is simultaneously warning that the system is already under pressure. Reserve margins are tighter, demand is accelerating, transmission headroom is limited in some locations, and tens of gigawatts of approved generation have been delayed in getting built.

💭 What happens when the same storm, heat wave, ice event, equipment failure, drought, or transmission constraint hits after we have attached hundreds or thousands of additional megawatts of concentrated industrial load to the system?

The Project 2025 role was to become the architect, personnel supplier, training academy, policy compiler, and implementation planner for a future conservative administration.

Project 2025 explicitly described itself as the conservative movement’s “unified effort.”

It said “successful ex*****on required a coordinated and unified plan, trained personnel, an administration academy, agency teams, and a Playbook prepared to move immediately after inauguration.”

Heritage and the allied conservative network 🎬
→ write the governing doctrine and agency instructions
→ recruit and train aligned personnel
→ place those personnel throughout the government
→ centralize executive-branch direction in the White House
→ use legislation, appropriations and executive orders to carry out the program
→ require departments and agencies to implement it coherently

The intended is …. the President, operating through the White House, OMB, OIRA, the Attorney General, Cabinet secretaries and politically aligned agency leadership.

Please, it’s been a long year of trying. Take this country girl serious. 🙏🏽 🆘
