As the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund continues its 2026 Management Performance Review (MPR) in Abuja, I reiterate a core institutional principle: our greatest asset is our human capital. Beyond financial resources, infrastructure, and operational frameworks, it is the competence, integrity, creativity, and dedication of our workforce that truly define our strength and sustainability.

At the Executive Management level, we remain unwavering in our commitment to creating an enabling environment that supports productivity, innovation, and professional growth. This commitment is reflected through purposeful leadership, transparent governance, strategic capacity development, and a performance-driven culture where excellence is recognized and rewarded.

The theme of this year’s MPR, “Reinforcing NSITF’s Role in Building Trust and Delivering Value Towards Strengthening the Social Security System,” aligns directly with our mandate. Delivering measurable value to stakeholders requires discipline in ex*****on, accountability in process, and consistency in achieving both individual and collective performance targets. Trust is not assumed — it is earned through results.

As we advance reforms and strengthen institutional frameworks, our focus remains clear: enhancing operational efficiency, deepening stakeholder confidence, and positioning NSITF as a resilient and responsive pillar within Nigeria’s social security architecture.

Together, we will continue to build a forward-looking institution defined by professionalism, credibility, and impact.

I was honoured to join my political leader and mentor, Alh. Ibrahim Kabir Masari, at the APC Stakeholders’ Endorsement Meeting in Katsina State, where leaders and stakeholders reaffirmed their full support for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The unity and confidence expressed by party leaders, elders, youths, and women across the state reflect our shared commitment to security, development, and improved welfare for our people.

Under the strategic leadership of Barr. Oluwaseun Faleye (MD/CE, NSITF), the project reaffirms the principle that sustainable economic growth must be anchored on the protection and wellbeing of workers.
I am proud to support and witness this national initiative, which strengthens workplace safety culture, promotes compliance, and safeguards the most valuable asset of every organisation its people.
