Punjab WASA has achieved a historic milestone by setting a new record in revenue recovery. WASA Faisalabad recovered 440 million PKR in April, surpassing the monthly budget target of 425 million PKR.

To further stabilize the institution and ensure service excellence, consumers across all 41 districts of Punjab are urged to ensure timely payment of their dues, which can now be done conveniently through their respective bank apps without any hassle. By paying monthly bills on time, citizens play a vital role in strengthening Punjab WASA, allowing the authority to continue upgrading infrastructure and providing elite facilities across the province.

Director General Punjab WASA, Mr Tayyab Farid visit WASA Muzaffargarh and Khanewal to review ongoing Schemes.

This official visit by the Director General Punjab WASA to both of these cities were conducted to review the overall progress of ongoing development schemes. It aimed to provide a comprehensive briefing on project status, assess the performance of disposal stations, and carry out on-site inspections to ensure alignment with planned timelines, quality standards, and operational efficiency.

Director General Punjab WASA, Mr. Tayyab Farid visited the WASA D.G. Khan, where he reviewed the overall performance of WASA, with particular focus on recovery matters. Subsequently, he also inspected the Mega Sewerage Project being executed under the PDP (Punjab Development Program).

During the visit, he examined the main disposal station, trunk sewer line, and other related installations, and expressed satisfaction over the quality and pace of work. On this occasion, the DG Punjab WASA issued special instructions to the Managing Director WASA to ensure that all critical components of the project are completed on a priority basis before the monsoon season, so as to avoid any inconvenience to the general public.

In a significant move toward inter-provincial cooperation, Minister for Housing Punjab, Mr. Bilal Yasin, welcomed Mayor Karachi, Mr. Murtaza Wahab, to Lahore for a joint press conference and a high-level strategic briefing. Accompanied by Chairperson Punjab WASA Mr. Ch. Sher Ali Khan, the delegation discussed collaborative efforts to overhaul water and sanitation infrastructure in both provinces. 🏛️🤝

The discussion also focused on the province-wide expansion of WASA services from 5 agencies to 41 districts within a single year: a monumental feat driven by the vision of the Chief Minister to ensure equitable resource distribution. 🏗️🌐
