And at Vista, we're bringing all three together, with Table Mountain setting the scene.

Join us for our Summer Sunday Lunch, where the coals are hot, the flavours are bold and the only thing you need to worry about is whether you've left enough room for dessert!

Think succulent mint and lemon lamb chops, tender braaied beef fillet, juicy spatchcock chicken, traditional boerewors and all your favourite sides. From creamy potato and corn bake to chakalaka, grilled vegetables, fresh salads and artisanal breads, we've got your Sunday cravings covered.

And did we mention? Everything is halaal!

Finish things off with something sweet from our chef's weekly dessert selection, because no Sunday lunch is complete without a little indulgence.

Coming to the mountain this week? Our Park and Ride takes care of the parking.
Park for free at Lower Tafelberg Road parking area at Kloof Nek, then take the free shuttle bus to the Lower Cable Station.

Year end function bookings are open, with six venues on Table Mountain for groups, both big and small. Year end function dates are available from 1 November to 20 December 2026:

👉 Twelve Apostles Terrace: open air, up to 200 guests, facing the Twelve Apostles mountain range
👉 VIEWS by De Grendel: up to 80 guests, air conditioned, with two private balconies, for more intimate celebrations
👉 VIEWS Deck: up to 26 guests standing, for lunch or sunset
👉 TEN67 Eatery: 60 guests inside plus 40 guests outside on warm evenings, once the eatery has closed to the public
👉 TEN67 Balcony: up to 40 guests standing, facing the Twelve Apostles
👉 VISTA at the Lower Cable Station: 40 guests seated, 60 guests cocktail style or 85 guests when TAP Bar is included. VISTA is not weather dependent and is available even when the cable car is not operational.

For 97 years, our cable car has taken you to the top of Table Mountain. Now it’s your turn to take it to the top of the world.

We’ve been nominated in two categories at the World Travel Awards 2026: Table Mountain Aerial Cableway as the World’s Leading Cable Car, and Table Mountain as the World’s Leading Tourist Attraction, alongside Machu Picchu, the Taj Mahal and the Great Wall of China. Yesterday, we celebrated World Food Day, and on Table Mountain every meal comes with a view.

TEN67 Eatery serves quick, casual meals for a day on the mountain. VIEWS by De Grendel offers a la carte dining, a w**e bar and tastings. KLOUD on the Twelve Apostles Terrace keeps light snacks and drinks coming, and TAP Bar at the Lower Cable Station pours Newlands Brewery craft beers and other beverages as well as a scrumptious menu, with views over the city bowl. Pull up a chair and make a meal of your visit.

Stay on the path. The fynbos beside it took a long time to grow.

Table Mountain is part of the Cape Floral Region, and many of the plants on the mountain grow nowhere else in the world. The dassies are wild too, however friendly they look, so please don't feed them.

Place your litter in the bins provided, even better if you separate it as per the different recycling bins. If you are hiking, please take it back down with you. It is our responsibility to keep the mountain litter free.
