A breakdown of the refuse truck occurred yesterday, resulting in a backlog of refuse collection. The following areas are affected: *Town and Breipaal*. *Bongani* will also be affected from tomorrow.
The truck is currently undergoing repairs. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank residents for their patience while we work to clear the backlog.

A pipe burst has occurred on the Prison Line, resulting in a temporary interruption to the water supply. To carry out repairs, the water supply will be shut off.
The following areas will be affected for approximately 3 hours: 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙣, 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙣 𝙀𝙧𝙬𝙚.

In partnership with SAPS and Siyancuma Traffic Officers, the Municipality successfully conducted a joint road safety operation.

The operation focused on:
Vehicle roadworthiness inspections
License compliance checks
Overall traffic law enforcement

We are pleased to report that the operation was concluded swiftly and effectively, with excellent cooperation from all stakeholders. Siyancuma Municipality remains committed to ensuring safer roads and full regulatory compliance for all residents and road users.
