🕊️ A Dark Cloud Has Fallen Upon Us

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Pastor Felix Shumba, who went to be with the Lord earlier this morning.

Pastor Shumba was a true soldier of faith and one of the pillars of JIAM Ministries. I fondly remember that he was the very first person to faithfully pay tithe to JIAM Ministries when we had just begun—without anyone teaching or encouraging him to do so. In fact, he called me several times before I finally agreed to receive it. His obedience, faithfulness, and commitment to God's work were truly remarkable.

He was the man with whom we established the JIAM Durban branch. He was a man of wisdom, love, humility, and integrity.

Today, we have lost a teacher. We have lost an elder. We have lost a father. We have lost a trusted adviser.

Pastor Shumba passed away in Bulawayo, where he had been receiving medical treatment.

Further updates regarding the funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.

On behalf of JIAM Ministries, we extend our deepest condolences to the Shumba family and the entire JIAM family. May the Lord comfort every heart during this difficult time.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." — Psalm 116:15

🕊️ Rest in eternal peace, Pastor Felix Shumba. Your legacy of faith and service will never be forgotten.
