Greetings Bagaetsho,
Our beloved nation is bleeding. Across our provinces—from recent devastating mass shootings to the horrifying surge in brutal murders and violence against women—families are left shattered, and communities are gripped by fear. A country where people are no longer safe in their streets, homes, or public spaces is facing a deep spiritual and moral crisis.
​We cannot separate this total breakdown in public safety and the rule of law from the character of our leadership. The crises we face today—rampant crime, failing infrastructure, and systemic corruption—are the bitter fruits of ungodly governance that has turned away from divine accountability, absolute truth, and a reverence for the sanctity of human life.
​The Word of God tells us clearly in Proverbs 29:2, "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan." Right now, the people of South Africa are groaning under the weight of lawlessness, poor policing, and leadership that lacks a moral compass.
​True safety, justice, and prosperity will never return to our land by recycling the very political entities that brought us to this point. Real transformation requires a moral awakening. We must choose right by supporting ethical leadership rooted in biblical values, integrity, and a genuine commitment to serving the people.
​Let us continue to pray earnestly for the families mourning their loved ones and for divine protection over South Africa. But let us also stand firm, speak out, and use our voices to demand a righteous nation.
​Righteousness exalts a nation, and peace follows the rule of the righteous. It is time to choose right and rescue South Africa.
