BADLAAV ZAROORI HAI
Friends,
The Communist Party of India is organising a Balaav Zaroori Hai Rally at the Ramleela Maidan, New Delhi on 01 September, 2026. The country is at a crossroads and the CPI’s gathering is intended to give a necessary push to the demands of secularism, social justice, employment, public health and education, electoral reforms, women reservation etc at the national level. Prior to that, the CPI has conducted nationwide Padyatras from 06th to 15th August and our goal is to reach every town and village of the country with the slogan of Badlaav Zaroori Hai.
An undertaking of this scale has its financial obligations as well, alongside political and ideological. As you are aware, we are not funded by corporate houses and we rejected electoral bonds on a principled basis.
Friends, most of us have 1,000–2,000 contacts on our phones. Many are friends, colleagues and fellow travellers we have met through the people’s movement and our years of political and social work.
India’s people are sensitive to the assault on the basic tenets of our Constitution and democracy. The overwhelming support shown to the students’ movement has proved that people are ready to stand up when the call is made.
Now, let us reach out to them. Forward this message. Ask them to stand with the campaign and contribute.
Thousands will gather for the Badlaav Zaroori Hai Rally. We need resources for mobilisation, publicity, publications, social media, travel and all the arrangements needed to take this message across the country.
Every contribution brings us closer to our goal. Every contribution strengthens the movement for positive change and our common future.
