So happy to have been given the opportunity to test these Superior Engineering 2.5inch adjustable remote reservoir shock absorbers.
Still havn't started playing with the adjustments yet but the difference has been like night and day so far.
What an improvement!
As soon as I have had an opportunity to test them properly I will be doing an in depth review of them. So far tgough...Very impressed!

Well the adapter plates are almost done. Not bad for the CWG cutting process even if I must say so myself!
Surely with this photo someone must know what I am attempting to do here. 😉
Let me know in the comments if you think you have it.

We have progressed from CAD to PAD. Now for a test fit. If it all works out we will progress to the real mcoy, 5mm steel plate. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

This Saturday I spent the day doing some really high tech CAD (Cardboard Aided Design). Soon to be transferred to steel plate.
Can anyone guess what I am attempting to do here? Drop a comment if you recognize anything in this photo.

All setup for four days in the new (well it's new tome). So far I'm loving it.
Expect a review on youtube soon!

I live by the philosophy of not following the latest crazes and buying new. This is one such case. I got this tent which is in perfect condition but without a ladder (How do you lose a ladder?) For a steal of a price. Now I am waiting for a new ladder to arrive and I will be in business. 💪🏻
This is my second "fan tent" and don't think I will ever change to a "wedge" tent...well maybe not... 😉

When your work environment looks like this it helps to take the sting out of having to work on a Saturday. 😁

This morning I had the opportunity to test the readiness of my landcruiser 80 series to tackle some tough wheeling. Out of a total of three vehicles I ended up recovering both the other two, one of them twice.
In the end I ended up towing one of them back to the black top after its auto gearbox decided that it had had enough.
I think the old 80 passed the test with flying colours. Almost time for the ultimate test...😆

Finally had a set of tyres fitted to the rims I had refurbished!
I think these retro wheels in a set of new 33x12.5x15 rubber is just what was needed to give the car a really good stance. It's been a while in the making but it's a reality now. Another line item ticked off of the still pretty long list. Progress! 💪🏻

Doing a bit of testing with a poor mans lift. 2 inch coils combined with 2 inch spacers.
My front has always sat a tad lower than the rear so I am attempting to level the car. Not looking for any extra flex etc.
As can be seen in this photo, I have created a set of adjustable length bump stops. I can have standard length or 50mm shorter simply by unscrewing the bottom section and fitting the rubber end to the shortened stub.
