The and the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) marked an important milestone today, 12 October 2026, with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) at the cidb Head Office in Centurion.

The partnership established a framework for closer collaboration in contractor development, professionalisation, mentorship and skills development, supporting the growth of a more capable, competitive and sustainable construction industry.

Through the cidb's B.U.I.L.D Programme, the agreement will support initiatives aimed at connecting emerging contractors with registered construction mentors, strengthening professional development pathways and improving industry competencies.

The signing ceremony brought together cidb CEO Bongani Dladla, cidb COO Ntombi Nyaga, SACPCMP Acting Registrar Tshidiso Lekgetho, and industry stakeholders, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing contractor development and transformation.
