This afternoon, we met with ward councillors in Mamelodi to provide feedback on the planned relocation and allocation programme in the area.
To date, 1 963 households, including 19 special cases, have been relocated to Pienaarspoort Extensions 15, 22, 23 and 25 up to November 2025. A further 579 households have been relocated to Leeufontein Extension 27.
The next phase will see the relocation and allocation of 427 stands in Leeufontein Extension 32 for qualifying residents from Nkandla, Mavuso, Willow Farm, Alaska and Marikana
The process is scheduled to commence in July.

Today, we handed over houses to the rightful beneficiaries, Genipher Busang (71) and Lesiba Ben Moobi (67), in Ga-Rankuwa Ext 10.
The homes form part of a 200-house project approved by the City and implemented through a partnership between Nissan and Habitat for Humanity South Africa (now Kebotho) to provide decent housing for vulnerable residents.
