5 JAAR STIL IN DIE RAAD. NOU HARD OP FACEBOOK MET AI-PLAKKATE.

LIP was nie ’n opposisieparty in Langeberg nie.

BURGEMEESTERSKOMITEE-portefeulje vir Gemeenskapsdienste beklee, waaronder Menslike Nedersettings(Behuising) ressorteer.

5 YEARS SILENT IN COUNCIL. NOW LOUD ON FACEBOOK WITH AI POSTERS.

LIP was not an opposition party in Langeberg. It was a coalition partner of the DA and played a key role in keeping the DA in power.

In return, LIP held the MAYCO portfolio for Community Services, under which Human Settlements falls. This gave Danny September executive responsibility and influence over issues affecting informal settlements across Langeberg.

This brings us to an important question: What was done for the residents of Wingerdlaan in Robertson, Mountain View in Montagu, Riemvasmaak in Ashton, and Nkandla in Zolani during the past five years?

Danny had the authority to drive improvements in basic services such as water, sanitation, and lighting. Yet these communities continued to face serious challenges, to the extent that the ANC had to table a motion in Council to compel the DA–LIP coalition to provide basic services to informal settlements.

For five years, he did not speak up in Council for our communities. For years, he drew a substantial MAYCO salary while our people continued to live without dignity.

Now, with elections approaching, he suddenly seeks relevance through AI-generated posters and social media campaigns. He wants to be Mayor, yet he could not even be a voice for his own people when he had the power and opportunity to act.

If AI is now LIPs official media and campaign manager, why could it not make him speak up in Council over the past five years?

Communities of Wingerdlaan, Mountain View, Riemvasmaak and Nkandla, open your eyes. Do not vote for a party that remembers you only when it needs your vote. Do not vote for leaders who are loud online but were silent when it mattered most in Langeberg Council.

Vote ANC to Build Better Communities.
