ONE MERAFONG ORGANIZATION (OMO)
One People. One Vision. One Movement.

Merafong, the time has come to reflect, to discern, and to decide on the future we want for ourselves and generations to come.

OMO is a common-interest-based, people-centred movement shaped not by the divisions of the past, but by the realities and challenges facing our communities today.

As an activist movement driven by social justice, OMO is committed to confronting the decline, neglect, poor governance, and socioeconomic hardships that have affected our municipality.

Our mission is clear: to roll back the misfortunes that have befallen Merafong and rebuild a municipality that serves its people, restores dignity, strengthens accountability, and creates opportunities for a better future.

The people of Merafong must remain at the centre of every decision, every intervention, and every effort towards change.

Our starting point and our end point are one and the same: the people of Merafong, their lived realities, and the challenges they face today.

As we approach the elections, let us look beyond personalities and promises. Let us examine the vision, the principles, and the commitment to serving our communities.

The future of Merafong belongs to its people, and the power to shape that future rests in their hands.

OMO — One People. One Vision. One Movement.

🔵⚪⚫ OMO | DISCERN BEFORE YOU DECIDE

📖 Daniel 2:21 — “He changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings…”

📖 1 Samuel 3:9 — “Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth.”

When God called Samuel, he initially mistook the voice for that of Eli. It took guidance for him to recognise the voice of the Lord.

People of Merafong, as you prepare to vote, discern before you decide. Look beyond appearances, listen carefully, examine leadership records, and consider the vision and service each candidate offers.

A vote is not merely a mark on a ballot; it is a decision that shapes our collective future.

May wisdom guide our choices, and may leadership always be measured by its commitment to the people.

🔥 WARD 25 IS ON THE MOVE!

Under the leadership of Councillor Candidate Dlamini, OMO foot soldiers continue to engage with the community, taking the message of change directly to the people.

This movement is about more than walking the streets; it is about listening to residents, understanding their challenges, and building a future where community voices matter and people's needs come first. 🤝🏽

📢 WARD 25, YOUR VOICE MATTERS! Speak up about the challenges in your community, engage with your local leadership, and be part of the change you want to see.

Together, we can build a Ward 25 where accountability, service delivery, and the dignity of every resident take centre stage.

✊🏻 One community. One vision. One movement.

🔥 THE OMO SPIRIT IS CONTAGIOUS! 🔥💙🤍🖤

Today at Ext. 99, a community member came across the OMO table. What happened next is a beautiful demonstration of what this movement means to the people! 🙌🏽

She went home, returned with her OMO powder, and brought the revolutionary spirit alive through song, energising and uplifting the comrades! 🎶✊🏽

This is what happens when a movement resonates with the people. It goes beyond tables, posters, and speeches. It becomes a feeling, a movement, and a revolution carried in the hearts of ordinary people.

OMO is not just seen; OMO is felt! 💙

🔥 THE STREETS ARE NOT GETTING ANY QUIETER! 🔥

Indeed, WE ARE A FEARLESS PEOPLE! ✊🏽

Ward 22 continues to make its presence felt as councillor candidate Msiuwa, alongside leader Bethuel Mthembu, takes the movement into new territories.

Boundaries may be drawn, and territories may be marked as belonging to a particular division, but our commitment to engaging with communities remains unwavering. We are not afraid to step forward, engage with the people, and carry the message wherever it needs to be heard.

We do not retreat when the road gets tough, nor do we grow silent when the streets get louder. We stand firm in our purpose, united by a vision of a better Merafong.

Our presence speaks. Our commitment remains. The streets are alive, and the conversation continues!

💙🤍🖤 OMO IS HERE. OMO IS ON THE GROUND. OMO IS AMONG THE PEOPLE!

CARLETONVILLE, MERAFONG — HOW DOES IT FEEL TO LIVE IN A TOWN THAT IS SLOWLY LOSING ITS VIBRANCY?

The question is simple, but the reality is painful.

Streetlights that should illuminate our streets and help protect residents are missing or not functioning, leaving communities concerned about their safety, particularly at night.

And this is not just a Carletonville problem. Across Merafong, residents continue to raise concerns about basic services, infrastructure, safety, and the future of their communities.

How long must our people live with these challenges? How long must our communities wait for meaningful change?

The future of Merafong cannot be left to chance. Our votes are an opportunity to demand accountability, assess leadership, and decide what kind of future we want for our towns and communities.

As you heard for yourself, OMO Ward 16 Councillor Candidate Ithabeleng Tholo speaks about the issues affecting our communities and the need to take action.

Merafong deserves communities where people feel safe, infrastructure works, and residents can look to the future with hope.

🗳️ Your vote is your voice. Use it thoughtfully. Your community's future matters.

CARLETONVILLE DESERVES BETTER. THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW.

Carletonville was once a vibrant community, alive with opportunity, economic activity, and hope for a better future. Today, too many residents face uncertainty, while the town's economic decline threatens the livelihoods and dreams of its people.

We cannot stand by and watch Carletonville follow the path of towns like Welkom and Stilfontein, where declining economic activity has left communities struggling to find new opportunities.

Carletonville deserves more than survival. It deserves a future.

We need leadership that prioritises economic revival, attracts investment, creates jobs, supports local businesses, and unlocks opportunities for our people. Our community deserves a clear vision, decisive action, and a commitment to building a sustainable future.

We cannot afford another five years of stagnation. The future of Carletonville and the well-being of its residents demand a new direction.

The power to change our story lies in our hands. Together, we can rebuild our economy, restore hope, and create a community where opportunity is not a privilege for a few, but a possibility for all.

Change is within our reach. Change is coming. And together, we can make it happen!

🗳️ VOTE OMO. VOTE FOR A BETTER MERAFONG.

💙🤍🖤 OMO FAMILY, THE FINISH LINE IS IN SIGHT!

As we count down the final weeks towards 4 November 2026, let us remind ourselves why we started this journey. Every step we have taken, every door we have knocked on, every street we have walked, every hand we have shaken, and every conversation we have had has been part of a journey that demands courage, sacrifice, patience, and commitment.

The final stretch may be challenging. Our bodies may be tired, our schedules may be demanding, and the road may not always be easy. But let us never allow exhaustion to silence our purpose or challenges to weaken our unity.

We have come too far to lose sight of the mission.

To every OMO member, volunteer, leader, councillor candidate, and supporter: your contribution matters. Whether you are on the ground, behind the scenes, organising, communicating, encouraging others, or serving our communities, you are part of this journey.

As we approach the finish line, let us remain disciplined in our conduct, humble in our approach, respectful in our engagements, and united in our commitment to serving the people of Merafong.

Let us not be distracted by noise, discouraged by obstacles, or divided by differences. Let our actions speak louder than our words, and let our commitment to the community remain at the centre of everything we do.

Remember, a race is not finished simply because the end is near. It is finished when we have given our best until the very last step.

To OMO: Gather your strength. Renew your courage. Stand together. Finish strong! 💪🏽

The people we meet, the communities we reach, and the hope we inspire along the way are reminders that this journey is bigger than any one individual.

May we cross the finish line with our dignity intact, our unity strengthened, and our heads held high, knowing that we gave this journey our best.

Merafong deserves a future built on service, accountability, and the collective aspirations of its people. Let us continue to engage with integrity, listen with humility, and serve with purpose.

ONE BODY. ONE VISION. ONE MOVEMENT.
