Another score in Kasoka Ward!

Clearing and markings for the construction of Isoka Parliamentary Office has commenced in Kasoka Ward.
The project valued at K889,123.58 will be undertaken by Famoseth General Dealers. The contract has been awarded under the 2024 the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) funding.

We are glad to announce to the general public that, Kasoka WDC successfully worked on and submitted to the local authority, 312 application forms for 2025 CDF. The documents were submitted to Isoka District Council on Wednesday, 6th November 2024.
We wish to thank all those that participated in this important exercise.

Public Notice..!!!

Kindly be notified that Isoka Town Council has extended the application period for CDF 2025.

The initial period was from 1st August 2024, to 30th September, 2024.
The extension is from 30th September, 2024 to 18th October, 2024.

The extension is specifically for the Empowerment component (Grants and Loans) of the CDF only.

Further, be notified that the application period for the bursary component (Skills and Secondary Bursary) is still open up to December, 2024 when results for primary and secondary schools will be published.

COURTESY CALL ON THE AREA MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT

Today, Kasoka WDC paid a courtesy call on the Area Member of Parliament for Isoka Constituency, Honourable Majory Nakaponda.

The WDC shared a number of concerns and challenges being faced by the committee as well as the ward in general.

The Mp pledged to work with the committee in fostering development through enhanced community project idefication and monitoring in Kasoka Ward. She urged the new executive to work as a team and avoid all forms of segregation. She also emplored the executive to be available and readily accessible by the community members.

Present during the meeting was Kasoka WDC Chairperson, Mr Stephen Sinyinza; Vice Chairperson, Mr Silwizya Boniface; Secretary, Mr Mulenga Jairus, Committee members, Mr Muwowo Yumba and Mr Sichamba Jupiter.

The outgoing WDC Chairperson for Kasoka Ward, Mr Simbaya Robin has today successfully handed over the office and it's operations to the incoming Chairperson, Mr Sinyinza Stephen. The event took place today,Monday 19th August 2024 at WDC office. Witnessing the handover, was Ms Doreen ng'ambi from the local Authority.
