EXAMINATIONS UNDERWAY FOR VOTER EDUCATION FACILITATORS IN SENGA HILL CONSTITUENCY
Examinations for Voter Education Facilitators (VEFs) are currently underway in Senga Hill Constituency as part of preparations for the forthcoming General Elections.
The assessments are aimed at evaluating the knowledge, understanding, and competence of facilitators who will be deployed across the constituency to conduct voter education activities.
The examinations follow a comprehensive training programme designed to equip facilitators with voter education concepts, electoral processes, and communication skills necessary for effective community engagement.
Successful candidates will be tasked with providing accurate voter education information to members of the public and promoting informed participation in the electoral process.
The Electoral Commission of Zambia remains committed to ensuring that voter education is delivered by competent and well-prepared facilitators as the country gears up for the General Elections.

Training for Voter Education Facilitators has commenced in Senga Hill Constituency in readiness for the forthcoming General Elections.
The facilitators are being equipped with key voter education concepts and skills which they will roll out across the 10 wards of the constituency to enhance public awareness and participation in the electoral process.
The training is being facilitated by District Voter Education Trainers Mr Aaron Kolosa and Mrs Elizabeth Musonda together with DVEC Coordinator Mr Canisius Mushibwe.
The exercise is aimed at strengthening voter education outreach and ensuring citizens are well informed on electoral processes ahead of the polls.

Senga Hill Constituency has successfully set the campaign timetable for participating political parties and independent candidates ahead of the forthcoming General Elections.
Speaking during the engagement, District Electoral Officer Mr. Anthony Kalunga called on all candidates and their representatives to uphold peace, unity and mutual respect throughout the campaign period. He further encouraged political players to practice issue-based politics that promotes development.
Mr. Kalunga emphasized the importance of adhering to the Electoral Code of Conduct and maintaining a peaceful electoral environment before, during and after the elections.
The setting of the campaign timetable marks another important step in ensuring a coordinated, fair and peaceful electoral process in Senga Hill Constituency.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia in Senga Hill District has successfully concluded the filing for the National Assembly, Council Chairperson and Ward Nominations ahead of the 13th August 2026 General Elections.
Several candidates successfully filed their nominations for the different elective positions, marking an important milestone in the electoral process as the district prepares for the forthcoming general elections.
The Electoral Commission of Zambia has since encouraged all candidates and their supporters to continue promoting peace, tolerance and issue-based campaigns during the campaign period.

Training for the District Voter Education Committee (DVEC) and Voter Education School Club (VESC) Patrons and Matrons has commenced in Senga Hill District ahead of the forthcoming General Elections.
The three-day training, which started yesterday, is aimed at equipping participants with knowledge and skills in voter education to enhance effective civic and electoral awareness in communities and schools.
Speaking during the official opening, District Electoral Officer Mr. Anthony Kalunga thanked participants for their commitment and encouraged them to take the training seriously as they play a key role in promoting voter education and democratic participation.
The training is being facilitated by District Voter Education Trainers Mr. Aaron Kolosa and Mrs. Elizabeth Musonda.

Five aspiring Council Chairpersons today successfully filed in their nominations at Mambwe Mission Civic Centre in readiness for the forthcoming General Elections scheduled for 13th August 2026.
The nomination exercise, which commenced at exactly 09:00 hours, was conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner under the supervision of Electoral Commission officials.
Various political parties and stakeholders were present during the filing process as candidates submitted their nomination papers in accordance with the electoral guidelines and procedures.
The Electoral Commission of Zambia continues to encourage all aspiring candidates and stakeholders to uphold peace, unity and adherence to the Electoral Code of Conduct throughout the electoral process.

At exactly 09:00 hours today, Returning Officer Mr. Misheck Kondowe officially opened the Nomination Centre at Senga Hill Mambwe Mission, Civic Centre to receive the first political party filing in nominations for the National Assembly Elections ahead of the forthcoming General Elections.
The nomination process marks an important milestone in Zambiaβs democratic process as aspiring candidates file in their nominations in accordance with the electoral guidelines and procedures set by the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
