Bupe Ward and Kitwe, the time for progress is now!

Vote President Brian Mundubile on NRPUP (Pe Lampi), Audrey Chalwe for Bupe Ward Councillor on RP (Pa Chola), and Collins Chansa for Kitwe Mayor on RP (Pa Chola).

Together, let's choose leadership that listens, serves and delivers development for our communities.

# # THE DANGER OF SPLITTING ALLIANCE VOTES

# # # 1. Presidential Unity Must Reflect at Local Level

If two alliances agree on one Republican President and one running mate, that same spirit of unity must continue at mayoral, parliamentary, and councillor level.

When alliance partners compete against each other in the same ward or mayoral race, the alliance begins to fight itself instead of fighting the main political opponent.

This creates confusion among voters.

---

# # MAYORAL POSITION: A MAJOR RISK

At mayoral level, both RP and NRPUP have fielded candidates.

This means:

* Alliance supporters will divide their votes between two alliance candidates.
* The opposition vote becomes weaker.
* Another party can win with fewer votes because the alliance failed to unite behind one candidate.

# # # Example:

If:

* RP candidate gets 18,000 votes
* NRPUP candidate gets 16,000 votes

The alliance total becomes 34,000 votes combined.

But if another party gets 20,000 votes alone, that party can win because the alliance vote was divided.

This is the greatest danger facing the alliance in Kitwe.

---

# # COUNCILLORSHIP: INTERNAL COMPETITION WEAKENS THE ALLIANCE

In many wards across:

* Kamfinsa
* Nkana
* Kwacha
* Chimwemwe

Both RP and NRPUP candidates are competing against each other.

Instead of mobilising together, alliance members may:

* attack each other during campaigns,
* divide campaign resources,
* confuse grassroots supporters,
* weaken voter turnout,
* create bitterness after elections.

This can destroy long-term alliance unity.

# # WHAT VOTERS ARE SAYING

Many ordinary voters are asking:

> “If the alliance is united at presidential level, why is it divided at mayoral and ward level?”

This question is valid.

Voters want:

* clarity,
* discipline,
* coordination,
* and one direction.

Multiple alliance candidates create the impression that leadership failed to fully agree on power-sharing structures.

📢 DUTY FIRST — PHONES LATER

REMEMBER.......
🗣️ PUBLIC OFFICE IS A DUTY AND NOT A PHONE BOOTH.

*By Collins chansa incoming kitwe mayor*

Most government institution workers are putting the use of phones as first priority at the expense of work which gives them a salary or an allowance and this is seen in many strategic key Institutions and this has resulted in devastating poor working results. Institutions have various duties such as
1...Teachers must teach.
2...Doctors must save lives.
3...Police must protect citizens.
4...Courts must deliver justice.
5...Council workers must serve the people.

Remember Public offices carry the responsibility of national duties at local level which is service delivery and not endless phone use during duty hours.
Let us restore 1...professionalism, 2...discipline 3...Efficiency in all institutions of governance.

🛟SERVE THE PEOPLE
❌NOT THE PHONE”
Banning phones at institutions is not a solution but enforcement and monitored phone policy direction will be professional such as
*1... CONTROLLED PHONE USAGE POLICY*
👉Introduce clear institutional guidelines stating that personal phone use during active duty hours must be limited.
👉Phones should only be used for
1...emergencies,
2...official communication,
3...approved work-related tasks.
*2...SECTOR SPECIFIC* *ENFORCEMENT*
*👉IN SCHOOLS*
Teachers must avoid phone distractions during lessons.
*👉IN HOSPITALS*
Medical personnel must prioritize patients before phones.
*👉POLICE SERVICE*
Officers on duty should focus on public safety and rapid response.
*👉 IN COURT*
Judicial staff must maintain concentration, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Land phones in institutions of public service are more ideal for communications purposes and Citizens should have channels to report poor service delivery.

*PROPOSAL OF TURNING IDLE YOUTHS INTO SKILLED, PRODUCTIVE AND RESPONSIBLE YOUTHS.*

*BY COLLINS CHANSA INCOMING KITWE MAYOR... COMMUNITY LEADER AND PASSIONATE ABOUT DEVELOPMENT AND A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS*

Imagine a young person who wants to work but has never been given a real chance. This plan is about giving them that chance—quickly, fairly, and in a practical way.

*1... TEACH SKILLS THAT PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE*
Not everyone needs a classroom. Some just need to learn how to do things.
We focus on short, free training in skills like:-
1...fixing phones 2...building houses 3...cutting hair 4...welding.
These are skills that can earn money immediately.

*2... CREATE WORK IN THE COMMUNITY ( LIKE CASH FOR WORK )*
Instead of waiting for jobs, we create them.
Young people can start working right away by
1...cleaning drainages,
2...building drainages,
3... collecting garbage—making the city and localitie better

*3... WORK TOGETHER, NOT ALONE*
When youths come together in groups (cooperatives), they are stronger.
They can share tools, ideas, and opportunities—and succeed faster.

*4... SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES (HUSTLES)*
Not everyone will get a job, but many can start something small ( Entrepreneurs )
We just need to support them with:
👉Market spaces to sell
👉Basic tools (like salon kits or welding machines , plumbing kits , carpentry kits , panel beating kits , etc )
👉Small loans to grow their businesses

*5...PROVIDE MENTORSHIP AND GUIDANCE*
Skills alone are not enough. Young people need guidance on:
1.. How to manage money
2...How to stay disciplined
3...How to communicate and grow

*6...BUILD YOUTH CENTRES*
Idle time can lead to crime or substance abuse. Youth centres give safe spaces for:
👉Sports skills
👉Learning skills
👉Counseling and support

*7...👉LEAD WITH FAIRNESS AND INTEGRITY*
Everything must be done honestly to eliminate:-
👉corruption
👉 favoritism
👉 tribalism
👉 Political affiliations.
💪...But Equal opportunities for all
