Zambia Launches Localised Fiscal Decentralisation Training!

The commitment to stronger local governance and improved service delivery is now a permanent reality in Zambia.

Mr. Alfred Sakwiya, Acting Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet, Finance and Economic Development, has officially launched the new Localised Fiscal Decentralisation Training Program.

This landmark Zambian solution establishes a robust, permanent framework to operationalise the Intergovernmental Fiscal Architecture (IFA 2023–2027) and deliver on the New Dawn Administration's promise of bringing decision-making closer to the people.

The training will equip local authorities with essential competencies in Own-Source Revenue (OSR) Mobilisation, Financial Management & Debt Control as well as Accountability & Participatory Budgeting

This is the key to transforming local service delivery across Zambia!
