The Naked Truth Party President Disappointed with Patriotic Front’s Recent Conduct.
===========================================================================================================================

The Naked Truth Party President, Mr Shaape Kabwe Mposa has expressed deep disappointment with the conduct of the Patriotic Front in recent times.

Mr Kabwe, who has increasingly become vocal in the political arena, stated that Zambians should have been looking up to the Patriotic Front—a party that governed the country for over a decade—as a strong and credible opposition.
Instead, he noted, the party appears to be behaving like a newly formed organization, engaging in what he described as unproductive public outbursts.

He further criticized the so-called extraordinary convention reportedly held on Friday, saying it lacked transparency and failed to reflect the interests of ordinary party members.

Mr Kabwe questioned the legitimacy of the gathering, pointing out that several prominent figures, including Chishimba Kambwili Mundolo, and Miles Sampa —who are believed to have paid significant sums to participate—were allegedly not informed of the convention.
“How can such a gathering be termed extraordinary when key stakeholders were left out?” Mr Kabwe wondered.

Mr Kabwe also called for national unity, urging citizens to support President Hakainde Hichilema and the United Party for National Development ( UPND ), rather than pushing for unnecessary political contests.
He emphasized the need to put aside selfish interests and allow President Hichilema to continue implementing his economic and social agenda up to 2031.

The Naked Truth Party -NTP under Mr Kabwe’s leadership, prides itself on its guiding principle, “Truth that Builds,” and is widely known for its commitment to candid and principled discourse.

Mr Kabwe made these remarks at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport upon his arrival from Nigeria, where he had traveled to meet with his political and spiritual mentor, Prophet Seer1

MPOSA SLAMS HARRY KALABA OVER DEMOCRACY REMARKS

The Naked Truth Party president, Mr. Mposa, has strongly expressed disappointment with Citizens First president Mr. Harry Kalaba over his recent post on his official page alleging that democracy is shrinking in Zambia.

Mr. Shaape Kabwe Mposa was reacting to remarks made by Mr. Kalaba after visiting Honourable Brian Mundubile at Kabwata Police Station, where he is currently being held. In his reaction, Mr. Mposa said Mr. Kalaba and his party should be the last people to speak about the shrinking of democracy in Zambia, considering their own record when they were in government.

Mr. Mposa said that during the time Mr. Kalaba served under the Patriotic Front administration, the country witnessed serious concerns regarding the absence of the rule of law, suppression of freedoms, and disregard for democratic principles.
He stated that President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND government have instead worked to restore democracy, uphold the rule of law, and guarantee citizens their freedoms, including freedom of speech and freedom of assembly, which he said were severely undermined during the PF era when Mr. Kalaba served as minister.
Mr. Mposa has therefore advised opposition leaders to stop politicising issues of democracy and to refrain from undermining the democratic space they are currently enjoying under President Hichilema’s leadership.

He said opposition political leaders should appreciate the level of freedom that exists today, adding that they have not experienced undemocratic treatment under President Hichilema’s tenure.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
UPND MUST NOT BETRAY LOYAL MEMBERS BY ADOPTING OUTSIDERS FOR LUSAKA MAYORAL RACE
======================================================================================================================================
The Naked Truth Party President, Mr Mposa Kabwe Shaape, has strongly advised the United Party for National Development (UPND) against adopting Mr Chitambala Mwewa as its candidate for Lusaka Mayor, saying such a move would be a betrayal of loyal party members who stood with the party when it was struggling to form government.

Mr Mposa said it is shocking that some sections of the public are pushing for Mr Mwewa to be adopted on the UPND Zambia ticket when he is not a member of the party and was among those who supported the former Patriotic Front (PF) during the 2021 general elections.
He said the UPND must not allow public excitement and social media popularity to cloud its judgment on such a serious matter.

“Leadership is not about carrying a camera stick and moving around communities telling people to throw cabbage and litter in the bin. Anyone can do that. What Lusaka needs is not performance, but leadership. What the city needs is a serious, mature, capable and compassionate leader who understands the weight of public office and is ready to serve the people of Lusaka with integrity and vision,” Mr Mposa said.
Mr Mposa said the office of mayor is too important to be turned into a reward for publicity stunts. He stressed that Lusaka City Council requires a person of character, responsibility and proven commitment, not someone whose public image is built on basic civic actions that any ordinary resident can undertake.

He further stated that there are many faithful and committed UPND members who have sacrificed for the party over the years and should be considered for adoption ahead of outsiders. According to Mr Mposa, a bona fide party member would be accountable to the UPND and more dependable in advancing the party’s vision for the city.

He warned that adopting Mr Chitambala Mwewa could end in disappointment for the ruling party, adding that the pressure and responsibility that come with running the capital city require more than visibility and public attention.

Mr Shaape Kabwe Mposa also described the mayoral office as one that demands a leader who is kind, generous, approachable and deeply concerned about the welfare of the people, because a mayor becomes the father or mother of the city. He said in his view, Mr Mwewa does not possess the qualities required to carry such a responsibility.

Instead, Mr Mposa has called on UPND Secretary General Mr Batuke Imenda to consider giving the Lusaka mayoral ticket to Honourable Obvious Mwaliteta, whom he described as a kind-hearted and accommodating leader capable of uniting and serving the people of Lusaka. He also named Barbra Musamba as another deserving candidate, saying she genuinely campaigned for the UPND in 2021 when many had little hope that the party would form government.

Mr Mposa said political parties must learn to reward loyalty, sacrifice and consistency, rather than surrendering important leadership positions to individuals who were not part of the struggle.

“The UPND must not betray its loyal members by handing over such an important position to someone who was never part of its journey.

Leadership must be earned through loyalty, sacrifice, character and service, not through noise, public pressure or camera appearances. Lusaka deserves better, and the party must make a decision that respects its members and protects the future of the city,” Mr Mposa said.
He said this while in Nigeria were he had gone to visit Prophet Seer1

The Naked Truth Party -NTP
Supports Abolition of Death Penalty and Calls for Continued Support for President Hichilema
The President of the Naked Truth Party,Shaape Kabwe Mposa has expressed disappointment with recent remarks made by Mr Harry Kalaba President of the Citizens First Party, who indicated that he would reinstate the death penalty if his party forms government in the upcoming August elections. Mr Mposa said these are same people who questioned president Hakainde Hichilema's Christianity in 2021 campaigns.

Mr. Kabwe stated that the Naked Truth Party believes that Hakainde Hichilema demonstrated strong moral leadership by abolishing the death penalty in Zambia. He said the decision reflects the biblical principles of forgiveness and compassion, values that are consistent with Zambia’s declaration as a Christian nation.

Mr. Kabwe emphasized that while serious crimes such as murder must be punished, taking another life through the justice system does not make society different from those who commit such crimes. He noted that the current legal framework, which includes life imprisonment for severe offenses, provides an appropriate and humane alternative to capital punishment.

The Naked Truth Party President further urged citizens to pay close attention to the statements and policy positions of all presidential aspirants. He encouraged voters to carefully evaluate the messages being presented and to make informed decisions on election day.
Mr. Kabwe also reminded citizens not to repeat past mistakes by returning the country to the type of leadership experienced under the Patriotic Front administration led by the late former President Edgar Lungu.

He reiterated that the Naked Truth Party supports the vision and leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema noting that the party understands the expected outcomes of the government’s short-, medium-, and long-term development plans.

Mr. Kabwe further emphasized that the Naked Truth Party maintains its position that President Hichilema should continue leading the country until 2031 to ensure continuity in implementing the development agenda of the United Party for National Development ( UPND ). He however noted that some Members of Parliament may need to be replaced to strengthen representation and improve service delivery to citizens.

The Naked Truth Party also announced that it will not field a presidential candidate in the 2026 general elections, but will instead contest parliamentary, mayoral, and council elections in areas where the party believes leadership from both the ruling party and opposition representatives has not delivered effectively.

Mr. Kabwe concluded by stating that Zambia has recorded meaningful progress since the UPND Zambia assumed office and called on all citizens and political leaders to support President Hichilema in continuing to implement his development agenda for the benefit of the nation.

He also appealed to fellow opposition leaders to put national interests above partisan politics and allow the President to continue leading the country toward sustainable development until 2031.

Youth Day Message from the President of The Naked Truth Party -NTP

================================================================================================================

On this special occasion of Youth Day.

I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings to all the young people across our great nation.

The youths of Zambia are the strength, hope, and future of our country. As young men and women, you carry the dreams of tomorrow and the responsibility of shaping the Zambia we all desire.

I encourage you not to lose hope despite the challenges that may arise in life. Your determination, hard work, and unity will play a crucial role in building a stronger and more prosperous nation.

As we celebrate this important day, I urge all youths to love one another, to remain united, and to respect and honor our leaders, both past and present.

While no leadership is perfect, it is important for young people to focus on learning from the past and building on the positive foundations laid by our founding fathers.

Let us remember the sacrifices made by great leaders such as Kenneth Kaunda and many others who worked tirelessly to secure our independence and set Zambia on the path of nation-building.

It is now the responsibility of the young generation to carry that vision forward with integrity, innovation, and patriotism.

Young people must prepare themselves for leadership by embracing education, entrepreneurship, discipline, and service to the nation. The future leadership of Zambia will come from among us, and the choices we make today will shape the destiny of our country.

On behalf of the Naked Truth Party, I encourage every young person to believe in themselves, stay focused on their dreams, and remain committed to building a united, peaceful, and prosperous Zambia.

Happy Youth Day to all the youths of Zambia.

The Naked Truth Party Commends the UPND Government for Progressive Governance and National Development.

The Naked Truth Party (NTP) has expressed strong appreciation for the developmental strides made by the United Party for National Development ( UPND ) administration under the leadership of president Hakainde Hichilema since assuming office in 2021.
Speaking on behalf of the party, the NTP President,6Shaape Kabwe Mposa stated that the government has demonstrated commendable commitment to rebuilding Zambia’s economy, strengthening key sectors, and restoring confidence in governance.

Mr. Kabwe particularly praised the government's efforts in revitalizing the mining sector, which remains the backbone of the Zambian economy. The administration’s policies aimed at creating a stable investment climate, improving transparency, and encouraging both local and international investment have already begun to yield positive results. Increased investor confidence and renewed activity in the mining industry have positioned Zambia on a path toward achieving higher copper production and broader economic growth.

Another milestone highlighted by the Naked Truth Party is the rehabilitation of the historic Mulungushi Textiles in Kabwe. For many years, the textile company symbolized Zambia’s industrial strength and employment potential.

The move by the government to revive the facility represents not only an effort to restore Kabwe’s industrial pride but also a step toward job creation and the revitalization of the local manufacturing sector.

The NTP also commended the UPND government for its responsible handling of the country’s financial challenges, particularly the successful progress made in Zambia’s debt restructuring process.

Through diplomatic engagement and sound economic management, the administration has worked to rebuild international confidence and place Zambia back on a sustainable financial path.

This achievement has provided breathing space for the government to focus on development priorities and social services.
Mr. Kabwe further noted that the governance approach demonstrated by the UPND administration has impressed the Naked Truth Party in several ways.

The government has shown commitment to transparency, improved relations with international partners, and strengthened democratic institutions. Policies aimed at enhancing economic recovery, supporting small and medium enterprises, and promoting national unity have also been recognized as positive steps in moving the country forward.

“The Naked Truth Party is impressed with the direction the country is taking under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema. Since 2021, the UPND administration has shown determination to stabilize the economy, revive key industries, and restore Zambia’s standing in the international community,” Mr. Kabwe said.

He further urged Zambians to rally behind the Republican President and support government initiatives that are aimed at national development. According to Mr. Kabwe, development should always take precedence over political divisions, and when the government performs well in areas that benefit the people, it is important for leaders across the political spectrum to acknowledge and support such progress.

“The Naked Truth Party believes that national development requires unity of purpose. When the government implements policies that uplift citizens and grow the economy, every patriotic Zambian should support those efforts,” he added.
Mr. Kabwe emphasized that the NTP will continue to advocate for good governance, economic empowerment, job creation, and anti-corruption efforts while supporting initiatives that promote the well-being of the Zambian people.

As Zambia continues on its development path, the Naked Truth Party reaffirmed its commitment to constructive engagement and national dialogue, encouraging all stakeholders to work together for a stronger and more prosperous nation.

Salutes president Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND government

04/03/2026

The Naked Truth Party President, Mr. Shaape Kabwe Mposa has expressed disappointment with opposition political parties for persistently criticizing the United Party for National Development (UPND ) government, despite having supported it during the 2021 general elections.

Mr. Kabwe stated that some opposition leaders appear to lack constructive and positive alternatives, resulting in a tendency to react to every statement and situation involving the UPND rather than presenting meaningful policy options. He emphasized that the role of the opposition should be to support national development efforts and contribute solutions that advance Zambia’s economic, social, and developmental goals — not to oppose initiatives indiscriminately, even when they are in the country’s best interest.

He further highlighted that The Naked Truth Party -NTP
represents a new approach to politics, one focused on liberating Zambians through practical solutions and responsible leadership. According to Mr. Kabwe, the party is positioning itself to prepare the nation for a smooth transition of leadership in 2031, when it hopes to take over from the UPND government and President Hakainde Hichilema .

Mr. Kabwe clarified that The Naked Truth Party has not endorsed President Hichilema for the upcoming August polls. However, he expressed the view that the current government is likely to secure victory due to what he described as a weak and fragmented opposition landscape.

He further cautioned that frequent changes in government can slow national development, particularly in a growing economy such as Zambia’s. In this regard, he suggested that an additional five years of UPND leadership could provide continued economic stability and development benefits for the Zambian people.

THE NAKED TRUTH PARTY PRESIDENT DISAPPOINTED BY SOME OPPOSITION POLITICAL LEADERS
=====================================================================================================
The Naked Truth Party president, Mr. Mposa Kabwe, has expressed disappointment with opposition parties for criticizing the UPND government, given their support in the 2021 general elections. Mr. Mposa stated that some opposition leaders lack positive alternatives, leading them to react to every UPND statement and situation.

He noted that the opposition's role is to support the government in delivering economic, social, and development goals, rather than criticizing everything, even if it's in Zambia's best interest. Specifically, Mr. Mposa highlighted issues like load shedding, unemployment, and infrastructure development as areas where the opposition could offer constructive input rather than just criticism.

Mr. Mposa emphasized that his party, The Naked Truth, offers a new approach to politics, aiming to liberate Zambians and prepare them to take over from the UPND government and President Hakainde Hichilema in 2031. He mentioned that The Naked Truth focuses on economic empowerment, good governance, and sustainable development.

Mr. Mposa clarified that The Naked Truth hasn't endorsed President Hichilema for the August polls, but believes the current government will win due to a lack of strong opposition. He stressed that frequent government changes can hinder development, particularly in a growing country like Zambia, and suggested that another five years of UPND governance could allow for continuity in economic reforms, improved public service delivery, and progress on key projects like infrastructure development and energy sector improvement.
