We had the honor and privilege of attending a beautiful wedding ceremony in Momba Constituency on the May, 24, 2026, where families, friends, and members of the community gathered together to celebrate the joyful union of a newly married couple.
The atmosphere was filled with happiness, love, and unity as people from different walks of life came together to support and congratulate the newlyweds as they begin a new chapter of their lives. Witnessing such overwhelming love and encouragement from the community was truly inspiring and heartwarming.
Moments like these remind us of the importance of togetherness, strong family values, and community support in building a peaceful and caring society. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the couple and wish them a marriage filled with love, blessings, good health, and everlasting happiness.

Serving with Compassion: My Commitment to Supporting Flood-Affected and Vulnerable Communities in Chawama
We remain fully committed to leading a humanitarian response aimed at supporting flood-affected families and vulnerable individuals across Chawama. Through this initiative, we have been distributing essential relief items, including mealie meal, beans, rice, chlorine, and cooking oil, to help ease the hardships faced by our people especially persons living with disabilities and those most impacted by the floods.
This effort reflects my deep dedication to community welfare and the importance of timely intervention during challenging moments. It is both a responsibility and a calling to stand with our communities in times of need and ensure that no one is left behind.
I am truly humbled by the overwhelming support and cooperation from the people of Chawama. Your voices have been heard, and your resilience continues to inspire our actions. I remain committed to sustaining this spirit of care and extending support to the vulnerable, including flood victims, persons with disabilities, and all those in need.
I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to the residents of Chawama for the warm welcome, unity, and peaceful environment you accorded me and my team during our visit. Let us continue working together to uplift our communities and build a stronger, more inclusive future for all.
