It's very unfortunately and really heart breaking to hear Former president His Excellency Dr. Edgar chagwa Lungu, complaining about citizens being harassed by the police, brutally beaten, tear gassed and maltreated.
But again this is a trend that has been passed on from long time were the government of the day and president uses states institutions and personnels to advance their political agendas and endeavours. Of which he himself is not spared from such treatments and operations.
Using the police for political gains and other state institutions to intimidate political opponents is a bad precedence that was set by Unip and Dr kaunda and most Presidents thereafter continued the vice of which president Lungu himself fell victim, for me him crying about this honestly doesn't make sense. He knows better how this system works, he himself occustrated such moves before, now whether it was personally him or the system that's for us to debate but the issue still remains he was the commander in chief of the armed forces. He should have changed that system.
God is great He has given him a taste of the same medicine, now he knows how it feels, hopefully, if he gets a second chance from God to be president again he can correct this precedence.
It's sweet when you're the one occustrating it, not when you're from the receiving end.
It's very unfortunately that President Hikainde has been through this, so he knows how it feels, the inhumane treatment, brutality, interruption of life,the pain agony etc. But still allows and gets trapped in the same vice.
Can there be a president in this country that will change this narrative. Let politics be politics and governance be governance.
No using of state institutions to fortify one's political castles and interests.
Allowing truly that the Judiciary, police service, ACC, DEC, ZRA and All other security wings be independent in operation but be guided in administrative.

Journey of life is an amazing one, you start as a small tiny thing to a full human being.

They are young,beautiful and attractive but carrying viruses in them!
The problem is we have raised this generation not knowing how to be patient with life and realizing that everything comes at its time and cost! The impulse imposed on them by society through social standings and social media has decayed their morals! Unfortunately church has not so much helped on this! They want to be spoiled,want Gucci's, iPhones,want to go out every week day and weekend to fancy places,restaurants and bars! They want to drink expensive alcohol and maintain standards based on a man's money! Those huge deposits you receive in your mobile money come with its implications and most health deadly pestilences! Instead of concentrating on school and things that bring value to ones life and real successful living, they are worried about appearances and social standing! To maintain this they jump from one seemingly well to do guy to another in the name of Chicago's,Cappello's etc. They want modern fashions and to look modern not modest! As a result they exchange their bodies for a drink,food and gifts!
They cannot go out with their peers because they peers are broke as them! They want us but we were once them! Broke and nothing but through the process of time we became what we are today! And married our peers at the time! Life is a process dear girl child to rush for things ! with hard work you will always have them.At 40 with a bruised health and body even with money you won't be attractive.
Don't destroy your future for mere outings, spoils,gifts and little change that will finish in one day! Tomorrow is greater than today!

Your destiny is more important than leisure!
Put more effort in pursuing your destiny than impressing people!
To be famous and broke is a tragedy!
Better you are infamous but loaded!
Been broke is very stressful so why are you so stressed trying to impress broke people who don't add any value to your life!
Men stop working so hard to impress broke lazy ladies that don't add any value to your destiny!
Women stop pursuing loaded guys in the name of getting spoiled,that doesn't add any value to your destiny!
Getting married,laid, spoiled etc is not your destiny go hustle and lay up an inheritance for your children and those who don't have children leave behind a legacy worth looking at! Stop looking to men for your success and livelihood in life! You are capable of winning on your own! Own your life! People that spoil you with gifts and expensive luxurious life experiences! worked so hard to take control of their lives! And now because you are so desperate to be spoiled at any cost you have become toys in their hands for pleasure! I think you were created better than that! You have a purpose to live for not to be pleasuring toys for men that have money,power and influence! You are better than you think! What you seek for normally in Men! ladies is just temporary and suddenly fades away. When that happens what's left of you? There's a beauty in being in control of your own life! Build a financial base for yourself that's not dependant on you opening your legs!
