WELL DONE MR PRESIDENT ON BILL 7.
But this move is not to be politicised.
Every well meaning Zambian is happy with the government move.
We complained as a nation through various organisations and the president did a wise move by engaging the church representatives who represented us well.
You can tell by the way they were coming out during the meeting that they were made to feel comfortable by the president because the president meant well.
As a result of that meeting, government decided stop the constitution ammendments process to allow wider consultations.
But some politicians have decided to politicise the move and use it against the government which is very wrong.
The government had all the powers and resources to continue with Bill 7 if it wanted. But the president had to put the interest of the people first.
Let's give credit where it's necessary and in this case it is really necessary.
1.WHO WILL REPAY THE MONEY THEY ARE BORROWING TODAY?
2. How long will it take for Zambia to clear all it's debts.
3. Why is the government eager to borrow.
4. Are there other means of raising funds apart from borrowing?
5. Do borrowed money really help the poor majority Zambians?
6. When will the borrowing come to an end?
7. Is borrowing too much a sign of failure?
8. Can Zambia survive without debts considering its rich natural resources such precious stones and fertile lands?
9. Restructuring and reborrowing; is it really helping the nation to grow?
10. What are the effects of borrowing too much as a nation?
Kindly pick your question and share your wisdom. Remember every answer is correct as long as you don't include insults.
We are about to open the Pandora Box.
Stay tuned.
Soon and very soon.
Food for thought;
Can a funeral service start before the arrival of the body?
Food for thought;
What if our president decides to step aside and owner the family wishes.
