Drug Abuse Prevention and Intervention Seminar:

From the 4th to the 5th of April 2025, we shall be hosting a 2 - day collaborative seminar that aims to deal with the drug abuse pandemic currently affecting the youth of Zambia.

The term "Ju**ie" is now becoming a popular part of our vocabulary as we tend to condemn rather than uplift.

This Seminar will deal with both preventative and intervention measures that deal with this. Therefore, it is also for those who want to prevent this from ever happening to a loved one.

Come and be part of the fight for a brighter future. All are welcome.

Register and place your booking.

For more details, you may whatsapp 0973 406741.

This year we shall fight against the drug pandemic currrently plaguing the youth of Zambia. The number of illegal drugs on the market is terrifying and everyday, our youth are faced with the temptation of indulging. This creates a cycle of addiction and eventually death or destruction of our future population.
Reserve your spot and join us in this fight for our future generation!

Keri Hilson enjoyed some elephant interaction during her visit to Zambia.

It was a pleasure accompanying both the Minister and Permanent Secretary of Tourism to the grand opening of a new & special "Whiskey and Cigar Lounge" at Lewanika mall.

In support of nightlife tourism, we participated in officiating the opening of this new place that serves the finest and rarest of whiskeys worldwide. As nightlife tourism provides employment for a lot of youths, it is important that we support local establishments such as these.

Had a wonderful meeting with the Permanent Secretary For the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services. It was good to hear about the feedback from the many Zambians benefiting from the Ministry's community development policies.

Nothing about us Without us" is the motto.

Met with B Flow some time last year to chop it up and have a brief discussion about the responsibilities we have to ourselves in protecting our destiny.

For too long the youth have been marginalized and prevented from obtaining leadership and strategic positions that allow for us as a collective to improve our own welfare.

The Policy Monitoring and Research centre listed "lack of governmental representation" as the main cause of failure in implementing effective youth policies.

Its like trying to ensure gender equality in a government full of men.

It becomes futile because there is no representative that can identify with the marginalized group of people that need urgent attention.

It is our responsibilty this time around to ensure our Minister of Youth is actually a youth (below 35 years of age). Otherwise how else will he be able to solve our problems??

We have been put in a situation that requires for us to create our own wealth without being given any knowledge or resources to accomplish this.

Are we surely waiting for God to fall from heaven just to inform us that we need to think for ourselves?

Why are we so content with this cowardice we portray? It is for this reason the older generation doesnt take us seriously.

Students' bursaries were taken away. Some have been told to attend online classes and we go on pretending like we dont know that over 65% of Zambia's live in poverty. That is the very definition of marginalization.

Sleep is the cousin of death and we do not plan on dozing off!

Thank you to Flavafm for reaching out to get my perspective on some key issues being faced in the build up to our very important election this year. It is through these discussions that we actually begin initiating the agenda for the kind of development we as youths require. The first step to achieving this is through Representation at National level as well as representation during the policy making & implementation stages.

It is futile to try and implement youth developmental policies when we do not have individuals at that level who can see the whole process through whilst liasing with the Policy Monitoring and Research Centre that provides us with data on how to improve on failed and stagnant policies.

A LETTER OF HOPE AND ENCOURAGMENT TO ZAMBIA'S YOUTH (PART 3)

Malcom X's anger came from the development of a system that creates a very vicious cycle of poverty. Vicious because it seems impossible to reverse. (Please follow page for a short excerpt of his message).
Its no secret our older generation have failed us bitterly. But whether we will continue to facilitate this broken-down system is completely our choice.
Many lack interest in these issues because they are on the opposite side of the same bridge and feel their side is stable and can never collapse. My only urge is that we all engage in resolving this just to give our lives some meaning and purpose.

Il be Big Bro on behalf of all who believe im a worthy representative. However, you still need to inject some value in the breakdown of this systemic poverty.
