September 21, 2024, marked International World Peace Day, and as Miss Peace Zambia 2024 Ambassador, Lushomo kaumba joined the global celebration. This year’s theme, “Cultivating a Culture of Peace,” resonated deeply.

Our virtual discussion highlighted key factors for achieving peace: international cooperation, education of masses, cultural exchange, and addressing economic inequality. We identified actionable steps: supporting peace-promoting organizations, engaging in respectful dialogue, and we need to advocate for policies prioritizing human rights and dignity according to existing Legislation.

As Miss Peace Zambia 2024 she encourages each and every Zambian to cultivate a culture of peace by embracing dialogue, equality, diversity, inclusion, justice, and respect for self and others. By intentionally incorporating these values into your daily life, you become a peace practitioner, inspiring a ripple effect of harmony. Your deliberate choices can create a lifelong habit of peaceful living, making you a beacon of hope for a more harmonious world.
