SECRET EXPLODED,.............!
Here is a list of charms Rwandan use, some of them found in Zambia to get rich.
Having been in Lusaka for the past 14years I have observed business owners of different nationalities. We Zambians being very accommodative have our friends from Congo, Angola, Zimbabwe and many other countries.
From this stratum of nationalities the Rwandise stand out and we have alot to learn from them as we head for the top individually and coprately.
In the most popular sermon of Jesus on the Mount he looked at his fellow Jews and told them that except your righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees you will not see the kingdom of God. This was a very hard saying because non afflicted himself for righteousness at that time as a Pharisee. Today I would love to say that except your hard work and discpline exceeds that of the Rwandise you will not see the Kingdom of your own dreams.
When I heard the vision of the president of Rwanda which is to turn Rwanda into the silicon valley of Africa I knew it is possible and they will achieve it. If you want to know the future of any people then just look at their work ethics. The prophecy of any nation is not in what it's men of God say it is in the behavior and conduct, the work ethics of its citizen. No amount of prayer or declaration can turn a lazy and indisciplined nation into a leading economy.
No amount of binding, fasting and praying will turn a lazy, extravagant, pleasure seeking, comfort loving and indisplined family into a rich one. Having said this let's pick lessons from the Rwandise.
CONSISTENCY
The Rwandise are consistent. They open their businesses the earliest every day and close the latest everyday. On average every Rwandise business is open by 06:00hrs and closes at 22:00hrs. A Zambian business opens at 09hrs and closes at 12hrs for lunch, reopens at 14hrs and closes at 17hrs.
AN EXTRA MILE
The Rwandise goes an extra mile in his work. He open early and knocks off late.
DISCPLINE
A Rwandise is in his shop as the business owner from Sunday to Sunday, from morning to even. He is monitoring everything about his work. He often sleeps in his shop. We are quick to employ so as to be called bosses even when there is nothing that the business is generating.
SELF CONTROL
I am yet to come across a Rwandise who is a drunkard, one who patronised buildings of amber colored bottle with volatile liquids and deem lights. I am yet to meet a Rwandise who is ever patronising the malls and cinemas. These brothers and sisters know how to live within their means.
WORKING TOGETHER
Rwandise work together as families. Normally the oldest begins the business and enganges his siblings to work with him. After sometime he opens a second store and gives it to the sibling so they continue to get empowered in families. For us as high as the heavens are above the earth so is the economic polarity in our families. Some are as rich as the rich fool and some as poor as poor lazarous.
Instead of co-opetition in our families we have competition. Ever on a mission to out do your other siblings, cousins etc... Sometimes a relative may even try to employ their relative but wait and see the indispline that follows. Reporting late for work, misappropriation of funds and many other things.
Comrade you have heard how those of old were told to study the Ants but I say into you study the Rwandise and consider his ways. The above principals apply in everything. Be it business, school, professional work etc...
Except your work ethics and discpline exceeds that of the Rwandise you shall never enter the kingdom of your dreams.
Be disciplined, be consistent, go an extra mile, work hard, wake-up early, sleep late, begin small, work together.
Comrade I will see you at the top.

DON'T GO TO YOUR FARM , TALK TO YOUR WORKERS IN THE CAR AND GO BACK TO THE CITY.. Farming and city life are two different things.
10 Shocking Mistakes People Make When Entering The Farming Space.
1. Building a mansion at the farm.
- you do not need a fancy house when starting your farming enterprise unless you intend to set up an unproductive rural home. Let business lead not comfort and pride to show off on Facebook.
2. Starting big without experience.
- only the grave starts on top, every other thing starts small. Starting small is not a weakness but a strategy. There are too many advantages of starting small.
3. Producing without the market.
- it's safer to 'produce for the market, than to market the produce'. That's one of the advantages of starting small. Let the real customer guide you. The market is your greatest teacher.
4. Working on assumptions.
- untested assumptions are very costly. Never put a big budget on assumptions. Thank me later!
5. Hiring unqualified and nearest people.
- only a fool will entrust an $20k investment in the hands of an uneducated relative or some cheap guy or illiterate couple desperately looking for a place to stay. If farming is a business, then get trained people. Never hire anyone you can't fire! Unless it's urgent avoid relatives! Hire the best you can and don't trust them!
6. Setting too short time frames.
- farming is not a get-rich-quick-scheme. This is the reason many backyard broiler farmers never make any money. Although broilers are ready in 6 weeks, your money is usually ready after 2 years of consistency. Get in with a plan to evaluate at least 3 times in 5 years! Anything less will not give you an informed perspective.
7. Investing in infrastructure without production.
- your business is farming not buildings. Invest in stock not structures. If possible have temporary structures for your goats or chickens. Too many people build structures for $10k and buy stock (like chickens) for $200. Very unwise! Start with the cheapest or free structures but with the best breeds/variety of what you want to grow!
8. Working without a plan.
- where do you intend to take the farming business to in 5, 10 or 50 years. I have a 100 year plan that my children know where they come in. They know that the harvest of my efforts might come during their time and we are ok with it. How big do intend to grow? Which markets are you pursuing, when? How will you know when you get there? ETC.
9. Lack of focus.
- copying what everyone is doing. Changing from time to time! Focus on a few, grow and dominate the sector. Competition is not healthy, seek to control a sector. Have laser focus on a few things. If possible specialize! Be a reference point for one particular thing.
10. Remote farming π§Ί
- others call it cellphone farming. Once you decide to farm, be willing to divorce city life. Go to town only to buy buildings and to collect rental money! The master's eye fattens the sheep! Don't come to the farm and talk to your workers from a car and go back. Never come drunk! Have a set of gumboots, overalls and get to see things for yourself. Keep a separate set of records handy! Arrive sometimes unannounced! . Control major points like vaccinations etc.
