NKOLEMFUMU PLAYERS SUSPENDED, CLUB SANCTIONED; MOVERS QUEENS LOSE HOME ADVANTAGE; MALOLE UNITED DOCKED POINTS AND TAZARA BLUE STARS GET THEIR HOME BACK.

The regional football governing body has handed out a series of disciplinary measures following investigations into recent breaches of league regulations involving several clubs.

Nkolemfumu Dynamos Football Club has been hit with multiple suspensions and sanctions after it was established that several of its players were involved in misconduct during a recent fixture. According to the disciplinary committee’s report, the players’ actions were deemed to have brought the game into disrepute. The affected players will serve suspensions of varying lengths, while the club has also been fined and issued a stern warning regarding future conduct.

In a separate decision, Movers Queens have been suspended from using their home ground for four (4) matches. The punishment follows crowd trouble and security lapses recorded during their last home encounter. As a result, the team will be required to host its next four home games at a neutral venue approved by the league’s competitions department.

Meanwhile, Malole United has suffered a significant setback in their campaign after being docked points for fielding an ineligible player. The disciplinary committee found that the player in question had not been properly registered in accordance with league regulations. Consequently, the team has been penalized with a deduction of three points, which will reflect immediately on the official league table.

League officials emphasized that the sanctions are meant to uphold discipline and fairness across all competitions, urging clubs to adhere strictly to the rules to avoid similar penalties in the future.

The affected teams have been notified and reserve the right to appeal the decisions within the stipulated time frame.

In another development, Tazara Blue Stars suspension has been lifted hence for the coming fixtures they will play their home games at their ground on 3 months probation basis.
