A legacy takes flight. 🦅

After more than 30 years of conservation, resilience and rebuilding, seeing Kuimba Shiri featured on the cover of Destination Zimbabwe is an incredibly proud moment.

But this is about more than recognition. It is about the future we are building: a place where Zimbabweans and international visitors can come closer to wildlife, discover the extraordinary world of birds of prey and create meaningful memories in nature.

Birds and conservation do not simply form part of our vision — they are the heart of it.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Kuimba Shiri’s journey. The legacy continues, and an exciting new chapter is taking flight.

Savour nature. Support conservation.

A glimpse into the rescue work behind Kuimba Shiri 🐦❤️

Gary shares an update on some of the injured and orphaned birds recently brought to us for rehabilitation—from a tiny chick to a young heron and two doves.

If you find a wild bird in distress, please seek experienced help. The wrong food or care can do more harm than good.

Thank you to everyone who brings these birds to us, giving them the chance to receive proper care, recover and—where possible—return to the wild. 🦉
